Took me 2 minutes to see what the other reviews were saying about this place: Found a punch bowl priced for over $20 when the same exact bowl was $4.00 at another location. Then I spotted 2 small milkglass plates where one was literally cracked in half and they tried to tape it back together so you couldnt tell. Luckily the crack was just very slightly exposed. The price tag as I read it... Over $14. This dude is out of his mind with greed. In addition to the reviews mentioning the managers refusal to allow small children to use their facilities - I witnessed the manager refusing a mother from changing her babys diaper in their bathroom. The baby was crying and the mother was arguing with the man because she had taken the bus and thought it was unreasonable that the manager couldnt simply provide a safe place for her to change her baby since she had just purchased items from his store. She said she was a "paying customer" and his response was "Not by much" commenting on how little she spent Im assuming. Since when are goodwill managers into putting people down for not spending a lot in their stores? Isnt that the point?!?! Myself and about four others walked out of the store immediately after witnessing this. The other woman who was working the register seemed mortified by how her boss was acting... Clearly its not just the customers who dislike this idiot. Overall very disturbing. Im reporting this store to "headquarters" and I hope the rest of you will do the same. This guy is a disgrace to the goodwill name and is taking advantage of those less fortunate. Please do not shop at this location and consider going a few miles further to avoid having to experience this horrible environment. This guy doesnt deserve a dime of your money.

I have been shopping at the Goodwill for years and loved it. However, since the management changed the prices have went way up. Not to mention that this guy who is in charge is very unfriendly. Some of the items that are donated are not even for sale. I have a daughter who is 3 and she had to use the bathroom. The manager told me there was no public restroom. However, I knew they had one as she used to be allowed to use it. I told them she had to go really bad and they still said no....I put down the items I was going to purchase so I could take her home and on the way out the door she ended up peeing her pants. I can understand that they do not want the public using their bathroom but small children can not hold it. Another problem I have run into is the target items that they have for sale. These items say "salvage" on them and the prices they put on them are ridiculous. Not to mention that the contents are either broken or missing parts. The manager insists that all the pieces are there and none of them are broken. So, I took a chance and purchased a shelf. Once I got home I noticed that pieces were missing. I immediately took it back to the store and the manager was very nasty and refused to take it back. His response was to call Target. Target told me that it should have been disposed of and not sold at the Goodwill. However, there was nothing they could do since I didnt purchase it from Target. This just goes to show that this man is a complete and total scam artist. I will never again step foot in that store.

Worst Goodwill ever!!! The prices were insane! Shirts from Walmart that retail for 5.00 were 4.89 and filled with stains. A basic glass that I seen NEW at the dollar store was 2.00 a football Jersey for a kid that was so discolored and stained it should be thrown out was over 10.00 . The employees were beyond rude and said that these are actually good prices and have come down. For a store that is supposed to be doing good will seems to be they are just getting greedy. No person who is in need could afford to buy clothes for a family hear. Absolutely insane especially when most of the items are donated to them for FREE. A news story should be done to show how greedy they have become. A business like this should not be receiving any of the charity tax exemptions that they do.

This place is so over priced its sickening. Goodwill is suppose to be helping people this place charges a fortune I donated so much stuff and I went in a week later to look around and they had priced one picture frame for $10 I didnt even pay $10 for it and it was brand new. This place is sick and is a joke. This has to be stopped..they say there not a non profit organization however they REALLY ARE. If you truly want to donate anything to help someone in need dont give it to goodwill take it to the help center the womens shelter the domestic violence shelter the health department or social services.

I absolutely agree with the other reviewers! They are so overpriced it made me cringe. What topped it off is that when I asked for the bathroom, one of the workers said, Sure, just a second. He then went to the cash register and asked someone who then told him, that, No, we do not have public restrooms. Now, I dont look scraggly or anything like that and I was appalled that they obviously do this on some kind of selective basis.

Even by thrift store standards, this place is a ripoff. For some reason this particular Goodwill thinks that by charging obscene prices but giving a discount for two days out of the month, that makes them a worthwhile "charity". Bypass this store and donate your things elsewhere. The salaries of those in charge of Chesapeake GW are beyond ridiculous for a "charity" and the lower income folks who shop here are the ones that pay..

Prices are just on believable the stuff is donated to help people who are in need and Im sorry I just dont see how paying $15 for a pan that you can go and get at a dollar store brand new for that price pants that cost $10 that should be to $3 I just dont get the concept of Goodwill at all

Pricing is insane. $350 for a Nintendo 64, $294 for an NES. $275 For a GameCube. They base them of the most expensive ebay auction they can find. I tried to help them reasonably price these and they got very angry and told me to go "eff myself."

Good car wash, fast and the price is reasonable, includes free vacuums with every washing. Only problem I had is the air blowers dont dry the car 100% but that has happened in almost every car wash Ive been so maybe Im being too picky on that one.
