On June 11, 2014 I had an appointment with the groomer. After choosing the service (Wash $25 and Furminator Plus Add On $17-$19 as listed), I inquired of the groomer assisting me the final cost of service. Tiffany (the groomer) stated that the final cost would be $62. I at this time asked why the bill was so high to which she stated that it was the cost of the Premium Package. To which I stated that I only wanted the Wash $25 and Furminator $17-$19. Tiffany then stated that she would get the manager to explain it to me (acting as if I was getting on her nerves). The manager Jay arrived in the grooming area shortly and I explained the above to him. Jay acted as though he didnt understand why the service that I requested was totaling $62 on the computer vice the prices listed on the visible price list located on the front desk as well. He asked me to hold on while made a phone call. Jay step out of the grooming area and into the store and returned to the computer while still on the phone, as someone on the phone was walking him through something. Jay then stated to me the same price for the service ($62) as did Tiffany. To this I stated that I didnt understand $25 plus $19 (if they charged me max) is only $44 all day. As I looked towards Tiffany who by now had returned to grooming another dog and was unaware that I was watching her began to mock me in a whinny voice stating "Its only $44 all day" (I actually heard her) moving her head from side to side. I at this time asked her if she was mocking me and informed the manager Jay. I told him that her actions were very unprofessional and that I would take my business elsewhere and inform the corporate office of the incident. Jay stated that he was sorry that I was not satisfied with the service.

What a nightmare!!!! I took a puppy there for training and was told to come to a makeup class after we missed a class bc our basement flooded. I was scolded for not training my puppy during that week. The makeup class consisted of large dogs - not puppies. One of the dogs was so aggressive the trainer could not handle it and my puppy and i had to leave the area quickly so we would not be attacked! I tried to speak with one of the store managers and he was so much less than helpful - downright rude. He did not know what to do so he asked me to come back at another time! My puppy got car sick so I asked if they had clean up materials for sale as i guessed this is not unusual with puppies. The same store manager told me they do not sell them. I found them myself in one of the isles, bought them and cleaned up my car!!! In the food section, there were reps from various food companies trying to pester us about buying their brands. I have gotten all my money back and will not return there - EVER!

Petsmart followed their returns policy in my case, so I cannot complain, but I wanted to caution those purchasing TopFin aquarium pumps there that I have had two of them fail within 6 months, the latest failed in only 35 days. The return policy is explicit in that pump returns/exchanges require the receipt and original packaging, neither of which I kept, and this morning they accordingly declined to let me exchange my failed unit. My only complaint would be that the packaging says the TopFin 30 pump is "Durable" and I would expect an aquarium pump to run constantly for at least a year, and my items did not. The failure point was a small rubber cup, or diaphragm, not available at Petsmart or PETCOM, but I will try to obtain the part online. Read the returns policy, and save your receipts and packaging!

The Groomers are horrific. My beautiful, smart dog was cut by Bev one week ago (10/2/14). He has a HOLE PUNCTURE from scissors and NO ONE TOLD US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We noticed what we thought was a scab, and over a two day {weekend} period, it became increasingly worse. Monday morning we took him to the vet and was told that scissors punctured him. Now my precious dog who is like a child to us has had to be shaved, has a visible open hole pulsating and oozing on his side, has to wear a cone and take pain meds and antibotics that cost us $150.00! Needless to say, we will NEVER take our dog back to Petsmart in Catonsville, or any Petsmart Groomers. Please dont let my dogs pain be in vain: learn from our unfortunate experience and stay FAR AWAY from this place!

Ive gone to this Pet Smart for 4 years and had good to average experiences. Ive bought fish, plants, dog toys, dog food, aquarium equipment, etc. Realistically at least a grand spent here, probably more over the years. They have always price matched legitimate websites (not amazon private sellers or any of those clearly third party sites)However, the manager Bill maybe? Refused a pricematch I have done at least 3 times in the past 3 months for dog food at this same store. It was a 3 dollar price match, however its the not my problem attitude and lack of customer service from store management that ticked me off, and I will subsequently not be buying anything else from this store. Ill just go to PetCo a couple miles further down rt 40 from now on.

Rude, unprofessional, unorganized, accusatory; The grooming staff are inept in dealing with large dogs. They lack any communication skills and provided no resolution or alternatives for me; completely unhelpful. The grooming employees seemed like they never recieved customer training nor did they profess professionalism. Their working knowledge on dogs and dealing with customers was tenuous, at best. Avoid this place if you want to be treated with dignity and respect. If they are harassing you to your face, what do you think they will be doing to your dog when you leave?

Been using your grooming Solon since my dog was a puppy. To day I received a call that I had to come and pickup my small Maltese dog because he was barking too much and was baiting on her tool when she tried to cut hair around his mouth. Then she said the store will be able to never ever be able to groom my pet. Said it was "Corporate Policy". I finally concluded Petsmart is the McDonalds of dog grooming severvices. Will never recommend using Petsmart grooming service.

Stopped in to grab some crickets and other things. When I finally found someone to help me the guy directed me to another young lady. I told her I need crickets and had a joke, but then another customer walked up and asked for something and the associate just stopped working with me to help the other lady. Leaving me standing around looking stupid. I stood there for a minute or so when I decided, no I will not spend my money here ever!

I really enjoyed the shopping experience here. Not only did they have what I need but when I asked for a manager I promptly got what I can only assume was the Store Manager. He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and customer focused. I was doubtful going into this experience because I had past issues with other stores but this really turned it around for me.
