I purchased a Toshiba computer (2012) from the Lexington Park, MD store. My wife uses the computer to do our taxes as she works out of the house disabled from Maryland Public School system. We discovered the drivers were not up to date and corrupt our password. We are not able to complete our taxes or enter the computer for regular use. Best Buy could not locate my purchase in their system and will not provide me the tune-up service or remove the password lock-out without providing them with a receipt of purchase. This created a set back since I was trying get my taxes and update the computer. It makes it very difficult to patronize a service provide whose system does not track the records of their clients purchases based on the policies their stores practice to deny services to their patrons. I will not buy anything else in Best Buy which may require service in the future.

(Please keep in mind, this is from an experience in June) I went to return a movie I purchased that was missing a disk, and told I could not because it was outside the time limit. This was not true, as proven when I spoke to customer service and they told Best Buy that they lied to me and told me I could not because they deemed me suspicious. Customer Service promised me a gift card as compensation for the issue, but I found out that was a lie too as when I called customer service about not receiving it they told me there was no record of it. I REALLY do not like being lied to my face just because they do not want to deal with me.

Be wary if you are like me and thought that the Best Buy protection plan for your electronics sounds better than the carriers. The program is completely inadequate! They tell you that they will loan you a phone comparable to the one you lost while yours is away, but cant even live up to that end of the bargain! Not to mention their 24-48 hour turn around is a sham! One would think incompetency is a trait that a business would strive to correct....not Best Buy...they let it shine like their name glows on the side of the damn building!!!

The folks at this store have always been kind and helpful to me, every time I have been there. Yes i did purchase a external usb dvd/cd player which did not work which was a very well known brand. It was not thier fault it was a manufacturing issue and i did inform Best Buy of it over the internet they called and were very interested in attending to the problem. It is always very frustrating to receive a defective unit and I do feel your pain though.

I’m not sure why this place was built. It’s about half the size of a normal Best Buy, with limited inventory. The staff was friendly, but I didn’t find what I was looking for and had to go to Waldorf to find it. This place is best suited as a ‘order online and pick up in store’ rather than a browse and shop for something that catches your eye. Unless you go here for Geek Squad or look at open box items, I wouldn’t waste your time.

Definitely needs to relocate. The Waldorf Best Buy is larger and has much more overall. Ive had mixed experiences with this particular location. I believe if they acquired a bigger area in Lexington Park to relocate to there would be more employees there to help as opposed to their small staff now. Overall, I usually prefer to go to the Waldorf Best Buy, but I would really Like to see that change.

The sales person was able to analyze my needs for a home security system and make a recommendation based on product performance. I had talked to someone earlier who had given me incorrect info. This gentleman did research to confirm the best solution. I went home and was able to set the system up with no problems. This would have been an expensive disaster without his help. Yay Best Buy!!!

Bought a television at an open-box price, being reassured that nothing was wrong with it and it had been inspected by the Best Buy team. Got home, plugged it in, and theres a massive crack in the picture/screen. Manager could not compensate me for his teams incompetence. And the customer service lady had a pissy attitude to boot. Be wary of any claims of a products quality this store makes.

We took our computer to them and 2 months later over $400 spent our computer is not working AGAIN! Also, weve tried calling for weeks now including TODAY and nobody answers the phone. I refuse to pay to have this computer fixed again, they will fix it. I will camp there if I have to. IDIOTS! P.S. If I could give them no stars I would....

Horrible customer service and the reps have no idea about the products they are selling nor are they knowledgeable or up to date on products coming soon.plus I buy a led tv for 1000 bucks and it blows up after 3 months.instead of repairing or giving me a replacement they contract marks electronics ro do their repair work.what a joke.

Stopped by the Cell Phone desk to see about upgrading my phone. Associate acted as if I was bothering her with my questions, So to make a long story short I traveled to the BestBuy Store in Waldorf,Md and went ahead and paid cash for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Dont believe it was a racial profiling issue, but it was close.......

I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS IN THE PAST, BUT 8/8/2016 was the best.. I couldnt be more happier than I was before. The associate that help me was really helpful, he even look on line for something I had ask for and told me the correct answer I wanted to hear.. Again, Best Buy you are AAAAA+++ on my list again

Absolutely tired of the bait and switch games that Best Buy is playing with consumers. TV advertised for $299 on website, not available but we have the same model in stock for $449. Done with Best Buy, they will not be around much longer. Order from Amazon save yourself the head ache!

Normal Best Buy. Do your research before you go because the staff while very friendly and helpful, may not be as knowledgeable as they seem. Check around online before you buy. The prices in store tend to be high, but they usually price match major online retailers.

The store has a limited selection and it is sometimes hard to find assistance. I like the return policy. I just wish they had a better selection than walmart.
