I have purchased gifts at lou lou for my wife and daughter for six years. Unfortunately, I recently learned that the friendly staff mask an unfriendly owner who took an unreasonable if not arrogant posture when he finally returned a call to resolve a problem. The store has a rigid 14 day return for store credit only policy. NO REFUNDS, even if you return a $480.00 pair of ill-fitting boots on time, and even if the store is out of stock to make a proper fitting. Makes no difference if the person you got the gift for lives far away and is in town for only a short while. Oh, and good luck seeing the small sign that informs of this inflexible policy before getting stuck with your purchase. Look for it somewhere around the check-out counter, perhaps behind merchandise or decorations. Sorry to the mostly friendly staff, but I will be using up my store credit and not returning thereafter.

Not a particularly notable store without any truly unique offerings. The store organizes its products by color, imparting a commoditized feel for what youre buying. Great store if youre looking for something cheap to match an outfit or for a simple gift. Its like the Forever 21 of accessories.

a watch purchased as a holiday gift broke after my daughter went back to university. As you ca imagine getting it back to me was not easy. The manager of the store was very helpful, exchanged it no questions asked and mailed it back directly to her to avoid me having to run the post office.
