Well my first and only experience with this place was not a pleasant one. I called the number on their website after finding them on Google to find out if they had a particular car I needed parts from. The phone was picked up by a mild mannered female voice and cold ventured at that. No big deal to me so I began ask my questions. The more questions I asked the more frustrated she got with me and was annoyed as to my phone call. Excuse me but last time I checked....thats your job. I own and operate my own automotive repair shop and have so for nearly 9 years so I know a thing or two about customer service. I am over an hour away from them so I want to make sure they at least have the car I need so I dont waste time and fuel. Doesnt sound like a huge request right? Well obviously it was because I was met with more verbal hostility in the way of sarcasm and forceful unpleasant tones. I asked if they had a certain car and she said "I dont know". So that asked me the very simple question "why not?". At that point it was sarcasm and passive aggressive attitude from her after that. I dont think its a hard thing to answer a simple question or two especially if someone is coming from over an hour away. She was not pleasant at all and seemed quite annoyed to be asked questions. For me I will not deal business with them. They do not keep inventory of anything and they have no idea what they have. All the you pull lots and yards we have near our area have records and keep track of what they have and prices are the same with other places so its not a matter of "thats how we keep prices down". Thats BS because other places keep records of what comes and goes and their prices are no different then this place. So thats my experience and review. This is twice Ive called this place and it will be the last. This is my opinion and my personal review.

every time i need a part i search all the other yards and can never find what i want and i end up here as a last shot and i always seem to get lucky and find what i need here..prices are great fairly cheaper then crazy rays and lady at the counter usually has all the answers to most my questions and is awesome! if your looking for that hard to find part and know what you need and dont mind taking a quick look through there yard without 50 million annoying questions then i would recommend taking a quick look here 1st because they have cars and trucks here other yards dont have. i dont know why people talk bad about this place as i have been going here for years and have never had a problem. Today i searched 3 other yards for a specific car 1993 cadllac sedan deville & Bam! There 1 was with all the parts i needed A front Grille, emblem, AC/ Heat vents, license plate holder and some other stuff. Im Very Thankfull!!! i stopped here Today

I saw the part that I needed for far cheaper than quotes I got out here in Laurel-DC area. They dont keep inventory, but the way they park their cars makes sense. Small cars in one area, trucks, like mine, in another. If you are careful, you can even begin to see a pattern with dates. It has a great selection especially if you are looking to repair an older car. Great service, great selection. I highly recommend it.

The folks at EZ Pickins were very helpful, they even stayed open a few extra minutes to let me finish taking off a part. They have a lot of older cars that the other junkyards didnt have

Well I just left Poor Boys and I now know where they got the name; when you leave there you will indeed be poorer. Their prices are outrageous!! Dont go there, I know I wont anymore.
