So I order my food, I go up to the guy putting the chicken in the bag. I say "excuse me sir, can I have just legs and no thighs" Which is my standard request anytime I get chicken somewhere as the wife and I do not like chicken thighs. This guy looked at me with such disgust and disdain, shivered his shoulders and told me "I cant do that". LOL. The manager was over next to cash register with his head in his hands complaining to some lady about how terrible his day has been. Meanwhile there is a line of five customers trying to check out. Royal Farms lived up to its legacy at this location, great chicken and lowest common denominator of people working there.

This has been a daily stop for me for many years and I have had a great rapport with many of the people that have worked here over the years. I have seen a lot of genuinely nice people come and go at this location. These days, I get the same grumpy cashier who wont look the customer in the face, never responds to my daily thank you. Now they have a new manager.... where to start, he does not engage with the customers and if there is a long line wont jump in to help out, in fact he hides in the back.

Great coffe and ice tea. They have the best fried chicken in the d.c. annapolis area bar none. We drove from old towne Alexandria, va...for sight seeing. This is like a very fancy 7-11,

Sign on the door 5 am to midnight! And Im at the store at 5:30 and nobody is here and the store is dark this is not the first time. Dont depend on the store being open in the morning

YES THE OMBIANCE IS NOT EXACTLY POSH BUT THE FACT IS THEY HAVE THE BEST COFFEE IN TOWN. UNFORTUNATELY THERE IS NO SEATING AREA OR THE RATING WOULD BE HIGHER
