I love Target and there isnt much I can say about how great it is that most people dont already know EXCEPT that the South Portland store is set up differently than most other Targets..normally I would probably throw a small hissy fit about this but NO, No, no I wont do that here...not today because despite the irregular set up of this particular store, it also has way more food items than the other Targets in this area. Do you know what that means? That means I dont also have to go to Hannaford or the odd smelling Market Basket and I could giggle like an idiot all day about the fact that I dont have to step a single toe inside of a Walmart because that my friends ...is what will send me right into an unpleasant mood.

Normally I have good things to say about this target. Today proved otherwise. After finding a product I purchased from them was defective I called to see about getting a replacement for it. Not only was I put on hold for a long period of time when I finally spoke to the associate (who will remain nameless) did little to help me with the situation. I had to insist she look up any possible shipments coming in or any other assistance. I am appalled with the customer service I recieved.

My wife wanted one specific hair dryer that was stocked at Target. The dryers were scattered across multiple shelves with none of them anywhere near the price tag that matched. The whole area was in disarray. It took too long to find the specific dryer and then I was unable to determine the price due to the mess. I did not enjoy the experience and just kept thinking at the checkout "Please dont let someone steal my credit card info."

I love Target! Always clean and this store in particular is from what I can tell, the largest in Maine. Pricing is normally equivalent or slightly higher than the Local Walmart but you will normally find a good variety of quality items here so I think the occasional higher prices is normally worth the additional expense.

The store is well-kept, and staff is friendly. The store was very crowded with back-to-school shoppers, but store staff managed the crowd well, kept checkout lines moving, and even set up ropes to divide the main aisle, directing traffic and making access to checkout easy.

Its a joy to shop at Target. They have great presentation and quality items but still manage to keep their prices competitive with Walmart and Amazon. The South Portland store has a special place in my heart since I used to work there. Theyve got a great team!

This Target was fine, I found everything I needed. However, this location seems pricier than others that I have been to. Also, when I asked an employee, Suzanne, for help, she sighed loudly, rolled her eyes, and walked away from me without responding.

Great place but I always feel like Im being harassed when cashing out about getting their red card!!! I can be there 100 times a week and every time I get asked if I want their red card, so o try avoid good here because of that.

They usually have everything in stock and prices comparable with other retailers. Also, I dont find myself ever waiting to check out because the registers have enough staffing and there is a self checkout section. Fantastic.

The late hours make it a breeze to either run in and grab what youre looking for, or to look around and do a little window shopping without the hustle of the morning rush. Self service checkout is always a plus.

Helpful employees at checkout. A sale was only good if you had the app and the employee let me use his in order to save what I thought I was going to. Now Im downloading the app!

I try to order here online instead of going into the store because the store is a mess. Things are often on the floor, trash in the isles, ect. Its just unpleasant to shop here.

Not good, not bad. The selection of toddler girls clothes is tinier than any other section of the store and that is what I went for last night. It was strange.
