Do not believe the scantily written reviews skewing the review ratio purposely created by employees to mislead fellow shoppers. As been said by other reviewers buried deep beneath the 5/5s, this store has a major issue with opening lanes. The employees knowingly avoid eye contact and when called upon for assistance you can see a visible dread wash over them. Even when given an exact detailed description of an item you are searching for they will never admit their ignorance and lean hard on a sentence along the lines of "we dont have that". I recently purchased moving boxes, without the help of these employed zombified husks of humanity darting away from customer questions at olympic speeds towards the back room. So as soon as 9pm rolls around employee presence is whittled down to a lane or two. 24 hour service is no longer convenient and has now become a waiting game. Prepare yourself for the late night shoppers causing the two lanes to come to a screeching halt as they fit a shelf of garbage into each of their to carts. Judging by the sheer mass of these unsightly rotund species stuffed into nauseatingly awful faded and sauce stained muumuu you know this amount of food will last midweek. So the electronic section, I have a question, where are the employees for this section?. It is easier to find rotting food on shelves here than employees, I cant do anything more than laugh in disbelief. But the worst place of all without a doubt in this store is the returns. I have without fail always had an extremely hard time dealing with this breed of miserable life sucking evil incarnate standing behind these counters. I have seen more well mannered reasonable people on hardcore pawn than these, for what I can only describe as dead eyed disgruntled monsters. The things that stand behind the counter here are going to make your return unpleasant, theyre going to greet you with a glare and theyre going to make you regret ever stepping into the vision of the unholy trinity stationed here. Inspect everything you buy because most of the items have been tramples and tampered with here. I have bought a candy bar, walked two feet after purchasing said candy bar from cashier. I examined wrapper and noticed it had already been opened turned around to cashier to point it out to cashier, then told to go to returns instead of a simple exchange right there. The line for returns was snaking around the corner... If you want aggravation, poor service, and to save a penny go to this walmart.

Although the concept is good in that if you are willing to go to the store you will save a lot of money in what youd otherwise have to pay in shipping fees, I have had a problem with EVERY order when I get to the store as no one is ever at the Site to Store Pick Up Desk. I had manager come back after waiting almost 15 mins and instead of them helping me as expected he activated a "call button" and made me wait for a member of the store staff to help. I guess that would have been ok (even though he should have helped me!) but the employees that have helped me (in this instance nor in past) did not know how or what to do. My latest experience resulted in me waiting 45 mins and left store with no one being able to figure out my order (they knew in store and that I was charged but they could not find it!). I brought it to the attention of another member of management staff but the lady whom so proudly pointed to her manager badge and said "Yes" to my asking if she was a manager but did the same thing (INSTEAD OF JUST HELPING ME)... she called another person on a walkie talkie to come help. After awhile longer I just had to leave. I later called to store and a member of mgmt did find the order and correct the situation expeditously. So true to Sams Club and WalMart it was taken care of. Lesson for WalMart Mgmt at this store is to learn that everyone has to "own problems large & small". The employess were great (even if they did not know what they were doing)! The problem is with managers not stepping up to the plate how can an employee working under them (this would also explain why employess do not know how to work the area). - A Longtime Customer

I shopped for groceries recently at Walmart and it was a horrible experience. No price was shown for many items, and the selection for some items was limited to two brands. I could not find common flavors of soda, the prices on the majority of items were not much lower than a regular grocery store. On my chosen brand of ice cream the price was $1.50 higher than my a major store in Kingston. I bought a two pound package of meat which after one day, spoiled. I checked the "last sale date" and it should have been fine. The check out experience was horrid. The cashier said quite loudly "I am out of room!." I was not sure why she was speaking to me so firmly and then realized she was waiting for me to load my carriage. I got everything placed safely in the carriage, although I had to ask that heavy items be double bagged. The flimsy plastic bags were destined to break leaving me with the joy of mopping up my driveway. . The shortage of cashiers before a holiday weekend was hard to believe. I had been so busy loading my groceries on the belt and then taking the bags from the carousel, that I still had to grab my credit card from my wallet to pay. I could not grab it but had to search for it. I had a very large order and the man behind me was obviously extremely annoyed. He had few items but had no choice but wait on the line behind me. Too few cashiers means a longer wait for some shoppers. I also found the store less than clean. Next time, I will drive out of my way to shop in a different grocery store, Walmart will never see me again.

I never ever buy a battery at Wall Mart, I did buy a battery last year, and last week I start have a electrical problem at my car, and I were with 3 different mechanics and all 3 told me the battery was bad, them I went to Wall-Mart Plymouth and a girl tested my battery and told me the battery was good, and I told her is not, and them a guy tested my battery and I hear he when he told her the battery was bad, but she came back and with a piece of paper and told the battery was good, so I did buy another battery and the car work fine since them, so never trust on wall-mart crew, they are liers, and never will give you the warranty the promise. Great store! They have tons of stuff there. The employees are polite, and helpful when you can find them. It is easier during the day then night to find help. They do not keep stock on the shelves for long, and do not usually restock most items until late at night. I do like how they have many different stores within itself, but most do not stay for long. I do like how theyre open 2-4 hours a day, their many different departments, and bottle/plastic bag recycling area also. I do not like how they keep very little registers open, the minimal amount of staff on at all times, and dont restock all the time! I would give them four or five stars otherwise.
