Youd be hard pressed to find a craft store with more ignorant employees than ac moore in south Portland. I was told an item was in stock and drove 20 miles the next day only to find they were out of stock(or had no damn clue what I was looking for).Beware the obese woman whose attitude seems to reflect the entire stores mood. She made it seem like I was bothering her when I asked about the thing I wanted the day before. Maybe she forgot her Twinkie enema today.

After visiting A.C. Moore for months on an almost daily basis in order to prepare for our wedding, I realized that it has so much more to offer than just lace, fancy paper, and flower vases (though it does have an abundance of those). It also has toys, chemistry kits, model rockets, coloring books, jars, boxes, picture frames, woodworking materials, and so much more. I highly recommend checking it out if you never have.

Have been shopping here for years, and its my favorite local craft store out of the several in the area, especially for beads. The ladies who work here are beyond fantastic, always willing to help with a creative idea or just locating something in the store! And the rewards program is a major bonus, I get $10 gift certificates all the time just for buying the craft supplies already on my list :)

I wish they would carry more up to dated jewelry items ..I make jewelry and I so wish I could be the buyer for that depth at Michaels ...as far as the rest of the store ,its great for ribbon ,and any other thing youd like to buy .The cake /cupcake area is fabulous .Frame area is also fantastic
