I do not recommend doing business with Boardwalk motorcars in Walker, LA. I left a factual negative review on ebay about my overall experience with Boardwalk Motorcars. The dealer convinced Ebay that I was lying. Ebay gives you only 80 characters to give feedback; not nearly enough to explain my overall negative experience with Boardwalk Motorcars. I reported that the power mirrors and the cruise control and the trailer brake controller did not work; and I reported that there is no CD CHANGER in the truck as advertised on their website. When I called him to talk about the truck, I asked him to tell me everything that is wrong with the truck. The salesman did not tell me that these advertised features did not work; so I checked the carfax; reviwed the NADA website to consider the price; then paid for the truck in full before flying down to drive it back. Let me say that it is a shame that ebay calls this place a top-rated seller. This does not reflect well on ebay in my opinion. Let me also say that it is a shame that ebay lets this dealer convince them that they should delete my negative feedback so that this dealer can continue to lure potential customers in with false advertising (CD CHANGER that does not exist on the vehicle), and options that are nonfunctional (power mirrors and cruise control not working). BEWARE: This dealer does not tell you when stuff is wrong with a vehicle. This dealer falsely advertises options that are not on a vehicle. This dealer gets away with doing these bad things because he then hides behind his statements added to the ebay advertisement that say the advertisement might not be factual and that it is your responsibility to have the vehicle inspected. THIS DOES NOT MAKE IT RIGHT or OK to do business that way no matter who you are. I am only on google reviews because ebay and the dealer work together to delete my feedback and improve the dealers score. AND you will be asked to pay $100.00 to have netneutrals consider your side of the story in the dispute. By the way, NetNeutrals also makes you fill out the survey BEFORE you see that they sided with the dealer to call you a liar. (Net Neutrals focused on the fact that; even though the dealer knew I was buying the truck to pull a heavy camper---one that would require a functional trailer brake controller---the trailer brake controller was not advertised; so my issue with the trailer brake controller was disregarded and used as the reason to dismiss the whole complaint... THEY COMPLETELY IGNORED EVERYTHING ELSE IN THIS ORDEAL THAT WAS WRONG/DISHONEST.) I should NOT have ignored the other negative reviews that are out there on Boardwalk Motorcars of Walker, Louisianna.

I purchased a 07 f250 from them in February. Im very upset with the situation and feel taking advantage. I purchased the truck out of state and since that day its been a nightmare. I have had a long list of problems with this truck and its currently sitting not drive able due to a bad transmission. I paid 25k for this truck and basically got ripped off. I was told the truck was sound everything was tight, power-steering, no cracks in windshield, sterio worked and that it was a solid truck. Well little did I know and here I am with no truck and owe 21k on it. The windshield had a Crack in the center of it when it showed up at my house. The sterio did not work.The drivers side window did not work. The front end was so shot i could not get it inspected. Tie rod ends etc... I had to replace the FICM a week after I had it along with a power-steering pump. Also the tires were damn near bald and would barley pass inspection. I also had to replace the battery b4 I could even drive it. I should not have paid 25 for something like this. And there is no way they did a inspection on this truck. Btw I asked to see the paperwork on that and never got a response. I personally sent Mr Austin Staples a email with no response. Now all these problems later and no transmission. Thats my buying experience with these people, take it for what its worth. Im looking into getting a lawyer over this.

I got a Ford F250 about a month ago. They tell you a mechanic goes over everything. Bull !!! Ive had trouble with it since we got it. We had to buy a battery terminal on our way home cause if you turned it off, it wouldnt crank. The truck is scary to drive cause it sways/ wonders all over the road. It did it some on the way home but wasnt sure if it was cause of me, being Ive never had a diesel. We paid 10,800.00. Some may say thats not a lot but it is to me. I have put over 2000.00 in the truck. 4 new tires, 4 heavy duty shocks, steering damper, 2 new sway bars, alignment and now having to get gearbox done. I know its as is but come on. For that kind of money, I wouldnt think I would have to redo the front end within the first month. Wont refer anyone. Yes, we saw the wore tire and yes, you cut the price from 11,440.00 to 10,800.00. Which is 640.00. Yes, you offered new batteries if we couldnt keep it running. If we met you have way. We were told that they have a Ford mechanic, Chevy , mechanic and a Dodge mechanic that goes over all the trucks. Your mechanics should have caught that and so much more. Just had new barring put on and more to do. So, the front end having to be redone, surpassed the 640.00 discount you gave. If we knew all that was wrong, we would have kept on looking. Barrings - 1089.48 No, we had no idea of ALL the problems it had !

I dealt with Cory and Daniel during my purchase. I did it all over the phone. They posted enough pictures of the truck for me to decide wether or not to buy it. Cory was extremely helpful and even called me to let me know that they were replacing the tires because the tire shop told them that the belts in one of the tires "might" be broke. I paid the deposit which they said was completely refundable based on me actually seeing the truck in person and whether or not I still wanted it. He stayed in contact with me during the whole purchase which was a super easy transaction and Mr. Jerry drove the truck almost 100 miles to meet me because of my tight schedule. Everyone was extremely helpful and the truck was exactly what it was portrayed to be in the pics on the web. I will buy another truck from Cory, Daniel and mr jerry for sure in the future. Check these guys out. Great prices, and if you are looking for a power stroke they keep plenty in stock

This place is so awful! They have screwed us over big time! We are stuck on the side of the interstate AGAIN! ONLY INSTEAD OF HAVING MY PREGNANT WIFE WITH ME I HAVE MY WIFE AND 4 MONTH OLD IN THE BACK SEAT! Never buy from this place! The first time it broke down we had only had it 10 days and of course we called them and brought it to their mechanic and of course the mechanic got it working just long enough to get his money bc it has broken down several times since then. 1000$ of our own money down the drain!!!!! Carfax said that the 1 owner the vehicle had did regular maintenance on the truck when it was needed (oil changes, etc. ) Somewhere that obviously went wrong bc a well taken care of diesel will last 500,000 miles. I wish I would have never trusted these people to give me a decent truck! Hope Im saving anyone else from this kind of stress!!!!! Take your business anywhere else!!!!!!
