Ya know, this world is far too fascinated with quantity not quality. I have been a frequent flier at Hortons Hardware. I am a true believer in paying a couple more dimes for quality in an establishment that will put me first. You dont need six different check out lanes and overkill if the place youre frequenting is efficient. Hortons is a place that doesnt make me feel like an alien because I am a lady, walking into a hardware store (historically known) as a mans venue, and feeling as comfortable as Charlie Scheen taking a mug shot. Hortons is a place to keep in mind, because if we dont support our local habitat then whos going to? FYI...I went in for a 1.98 cent fuse! First impressions are priceless.

They have everything you could possibly need here, from track lighting bulbs to shovels to Gorilla Glue to paint/paint supplies to chains. Best of all, the staff knows where everything is, and its reasonably priced (very similar to, if not better than, a big box stores prices, only without the huge crowds and long lines). One time I walked in two minutes before closing, and they stayed open an extra 10 minutes to help me out.

Outrageous prices for standard products--typically double the costs of the large hardware/home fixup operations. Their lawnmower repair service is worse than worthless. They fixed a recoil pull and charged $45 for it. It broke after four weeks and fewer than 10 pulls. When I took it back they charged me another $45 to repair it again. These guys lack basic business ethics. Spread the word--avoid Hortons like the plague.

I am the owner of All American Chimney Service, I have found their service and pricing for small engine repair, Weed eaters, Chain Saws, Pressure washers to be of the highest caliber. The turn around time has been excellent as well as the quality of the repairs.
