Ive been with this dealership for about 6 years and the salesmen will tell you anything to get you to buy a car. I was told that they would fix the issue with the low tire light coming on and once I took the car to Big-O-Tires for them to tell me that all 4 of the tires were dry rotted and need to be replaced so I went to the dealership for them to tell me that it would cost me 600-800 dollars to be replaced. then when I ask for the owners number then a guy told me that he was the owner when clearly the owners name is Greg Coats because when i broght the car they had to call Mr. coats to get my deal approved. I will never buy another car from that car lot again and I will never advise anyone to as well like I have in the past. The service/repair department always have a reason as to why you have to wait until the following week to fix the problem that should have never happen in the first place. i need an oil change something that take all of what 15-30 mins. i have to wait until next week. thats b.s i think johnny needs to find a new job as well as his crew if they are always to busy to acommadate their customers the way they should.

Worst car shopping experience of my life. On 2/24/2011 I went in with a car in mind that I saw on their website. The salesperson barely sold to me and was actually rude. Once I told him I would be paying up front however, he jumped on my offer and became very animated. During the negotiating process he tried to show me the blue book value of the car at about $3000 more than I knew it was worth. I quickly found out he was trying to show me the Grand Touring version when I was looking at an "i" model. He didnt even seem ashamed when I called him out on this tactic, he jus brought in the sleazy manager. They made me a ridiculously high counteroffer, wouldnt negotiate at all, and tried to get me to write a blank check to them. I was baffled by how uncourteous they were and just walked out. About an hour later the salesperson, manager, and owner all called me and left me voicemails to get my business. Thankfully the people at the Kia Store down the road treated me very well and I found an amazing car. I will tell anyone I know looking for a car to STAY AWAY from Greg Coats. Worst stereotype of used car buying there could be.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. My son purchased a dodge magnum from them and the motor went out in only 2 years time. I co- signed for him and now my credit is at stake. Customer satisfaction is any salespersons main concern. if you sell a car with a bad motor, you are liable not the customer, they should have gave him another car of the same value and took the magnum as a lost on their part, not my sons. This is bad business and plain wrong. Don t buy a car from these crooks. I will tell everyone I know to not buy from Greg Coats. The lady on the commercial should be ashamed of herself. I will spread this to everyone !!!!!! I hope you are exposed and run out of business, you crooks.do the right thing and take responsibility for your bad cars. I shouldn"t have to have my wages garnished for a car THAT YOU SOLD KNOWING THAT THE MOTOR WAS BADDDD!!!! I am not letting this go. I will keep on writing letters, bad reviews, and whatever I HAVE TO TO SEE you pay too, you crooks!!!!! Correction, not 2 years-1 year.

I was really hesitant to buy a car from a small lot. I worked with Patrick, Michael, and Jeremy. I laid out the details of the vehicle that I really wanted and they actually went on a search for my familys choice of vehicle and color. 1 week later I have the vehicle that I picked out at the price point that I was willing to pay. I mean you cannot ask for better service than that. This whole operation is a class act and made me and my wife feel like we were family. When it came time to talk real money and finance Jeremy took the time to tailor a plan that my wife and I were more than willing to sign up for. I grilled him back and forth and he didnt shy away or blink an eye because he honestly had our best intentions in mind. Once again, I would just like to say what an awesome car buying experience I had. I wont hesitate to recommend to my extended family and friends Greg Coats Cars and Trucks for their future buying needs.

I arrived at this dealership at around 8:20PM on a Monday night (their website lists clearly that theyre open until 9) with cash in my pocket ready to buy a truck I had been researching. After looking the truck over for a few minutes on my own, I was approached by a man asking if he could help me. I replied that yes, I was interested in this truck. He then looked at his watch and stated, "I mean, its 8:30 and were packed to the walls, Ill see if i can get a salesman over..." and promptly stomped off. I only saw one other guest inside the dealership and none outside on the lot. After 10 or so more minutes with no help, I finally decided to leave. I think its ridiculous to arrive at a place during advertised business hours and be treated this disrespectfully, and I will NEVER patronize Greg Coats Cars or Auto Outlet of Louisville again. I will also instruct my friends and colleagues to do the same.

Was sold a vehicle in 30 degree weather and was told it had a/c only to find out after the sale it did not work..manger said "well..its equipped with a/c" after i found the problem!..totally laughable..also the battery died the night of the purchase leaving me stranded and out $143.09 for a new battery..after speaking with both my salesman and the owner/manager nothing has been resolved..i wasnt asking for anything free..just what i paid for..they refused to right the wrong and do honest business..these people are money hungry crooks who havent the slightest idea of what doing honest business and standing behind their product means..I have reported them to the better business bureau and highly suggest if you have had similar incidents with them that you do the same.. most of all, if you are considering purchasing a car from greg coats dont. youd be better off walking.

This place is HORRIBLE. My husband and I bought a 2007 F150 from here in January and they sold it to us with the whole engine and transmission and all of the lines rusted. Called and they had never even looked at the inside yet. (bad play on the salesman that said everything looked great on it). They ended up giving us a 3 month warranty- which we extended and now the Lines are leaking fluid and they REFUSE to fix it under warranty and want over $600 to fix it, when I called to see what we could do the manager Mike had the worst attitude and claimed they werent fixing under warranty and wouldnt even try to therefor we needed to come pick the truck up asap. This is the last vehicle we will EVER buy from there and I will be sure to tell friends and family how horrible the service is. I dont know how they are even in business-
