Unprofessional and dishonest. I researched the information on purchasing a brand new lancer and printed out the documents of what I wanted. I felt happy and excited to go order it from Mike Steven Mitsubishi. Upon entering, the salesman was a simple helpful gentle man. I cant remember his name but he had a beard, glasses, about mid 40s. In the process of negotiating the availability of the vehicle I wanted, it felt dead. The staff keeps to themselves and dont smile. It kills the mood and the environment is short. You can see the stress and worry on their faces. It seems fine but if you look around youll find them. Also, I heard the manager "lady with long dark hair" speak angrily and said some verbal words that were inappropriate. I was surprised a supervisor of a place like this would even have more self control rather then this. For the sales man, things were ok but the clarification wasnt 100%. You can tell that their interest is getting things done. Which I understand its a difference but when it comes to others money - there needs to be a little more respect. The salesman I worked with was nice and reasonable. I cent remember his name but he was an old fella. Around 40 years old, Caucasian, glasses and pretty nice fella. However, he was the only pleasant part of the whole experience. Things quickly went down the drain when I spoke with the finance manager. He is a big guy, Caucasian and pretty interesting. Speaking with him immediately you can see money on his mind but heres the catch. He doesnt really show much details on what he is giving as a deal. He writes everything down. But if you pay attention, the numbers dont match. I kept speaking with him but he was persistent with his role. I started to feel uncomfortable and after a series of negotiations it started to sound like an argument. He wouldnt show me paperwork nor the % he was giving me. It really made me upset. So then I decided to wait and hold up on it. Then all of a sudden he said something I would never forget. "why do you want to wait now? Your making me do all this freakin paperwork." I felt so offended and disappointed when he told me that. I was so displeased with the situation I felt sick to my stomach. While speaking about finances, he used terms that were rude and pushy. This guy really wanted his money and hard too. What disappointed me was the fact that he told me some information that also misled me as well. Upon financing the situation he also said "You wont have to make payments until 2-3 months." So I waited from that time and once I started seeing the payments roll it, it said 2-3 months late. I immediately spoke with the bank upon this situation and became upset about the situation. I knew I had payments due and I knew my guy instincts of this guy was sketchy the moment I saw him. If you pay attention, on their about page, there is no images or details of the staff. Why? They often fire, rehire or rotate so many employees in that dealership its sad. ONLINE pricing: They wont follow their online prices and will go for a higher sticker price in person. On average, they will jack up their prices from 20-39% of KBB value. If anything, maybe a cheap car but other then that -that is as far as I would go. The service area is just as dead, they are just straight forward with little or small talk. Even on the phone they sound horrible - no politeness. I even called to get transferred to a few departments and there was no "thank you , or please hold". it was just straight blind transfers. I know this is a long review but I felt like it was time for someone to speak up. Be weary of this business, keep an eye on the people in, on, and around this dealership. If you start feeling uncomfortable just tell them "excuse me" and walk out. You dont have to argue or dispute all day with them. I hope many find this to be useful. If you want to see for yourself go for it and put everything to the test.

I will make this fair simply by telling the truth. Cons: 1. Test drive I heard a clunking noise Mike Merrick (salesman) didnt know what it was, told me to call back for an appointment and they will take care of me. Discovered myself that two bolts on the strut tower bar wasnt tightened down. I went to the dealership that night ran into Owen Shoemaker, informed him of the situation, he told me he was under the impression that the options are factory installed, but would you make your customer a priority and tell them that youll have it fixed? 2. I called Mitsubishi the next day due to reading the brochure that stated the bumper to bumper was 3 year 36 month not 5 year 60 month that Owen and Mike verified it was before I signed all the paperwork. I went back to Owen the next day he did fix the "Warranty Issue" with an aftermarket extension, hopefully that pans out? 3. Discovered my auto insurance will be enough to cover any type of loss, dont need GAP. I went back to Owen to cancel the GAP on 12/30/2015. Owen changed story, he first told me that he could cancel and cut me a check, before I signed, now he tells me that the amount will be put back on the loan. One month later no change on loan. Called Owen 02/01/16 told me that he had to contact a female in financing and he would call me back, false. Called Owen back 02/12/16 he again wondered why they was no movement, stated he would call me back later that day, before I got off the phone I asked for the GAP policy company phone number, again no call back. I called Owen 02/19/16 informed him I called both GAP policy company and bank (no record on file), once again he said he would contact the lady and call me back, false. I called Owen 02/22/2016 told him I was frustrated he replies he was going to "talk" to her and give me a call back on the number I was calling from, False. Last call 02/27/2016 talked to receptionist she was going to transfer me until I disclosed my name and all of sudden Owen wasnt in. Personally I believe at this time Owen has integrity issues and would do us better if we didnt have to deal with the stereotypically sleazy car salesman games. 4. Meantime my vehicle traded in was not paid for, if you love paying interest past your 10 day window feel free to drop by here and buy a car. In closing I refuse to work with Owen there to purchase another vehicle there and instead going to Norman Mitsubishi in OKC, a little drive yes, but a lot more respect for people(especially Veterans), a big plus for the McConnell personell. Unless you like to chase down salemen to do their job for the customer feel free to stop by. Summary: Mike Merrick-honest salesman, not familiar with Evolutions, but found answers Owen Shoemaker-falsify statements to sell cars and blow off customers During this time Ive talked to potential buyers on the 2005 Evolution Ive traded in for Stevens Mitsubishi and provided extensive documentation, and they do this.... sad. Update: Working with Stormy in service has made a positive impact for Owning a Mitsubishi hopefully the sales side catches on.

Bait-and-switch con artists, and I didnt even ask to buy a car. My Mitsubishi Lancer got a recall on some suspension brace, so I took it in to get fixed, as theyre supposed to. After 15 minutes of waiting, a woman comes from the sales department to tell me how rare my car is and that its "like gold" to them. She said theyd be willing to pay "thousands more than its worth" just to have it. And theyd even put me in a brand new one for thousands off the sticker price. We go to see the new Lancer, which she said would be $14-15k after rebates, just to get them sold. After a 2 minute test drive, we went in and she said with all the rebates itll be $18k, which is a steal. I asked about the Mirage, the car that has been out front for months with a $9999 sticker. They had new 2017s and new 2015s left over. She said theyd be about the same price. She told me none of them were more than $12k, and could definitely get one cheaper. She told us all 4 cars we looked at had XM radio, and it was obvious none of them did. She tried to sell me on every detail of the car, but she clearly knew nothing about any of the cars. The one we hated the least was a 2015, with 1500 miles, flat tires, and a check engine light on!! When I asked about the check engine light, she made up some story about the battery not working as well because it was inside for 2 years. We decided wed consider it if it was fixed, even though it was hardly a "new" car. After 3 hours of waiting while she talked down to several employees, she finally came back with a price. She showed me the MSRP, $17,7xx, and wrote down what she could do after the rebates. It was $14k. She said shed knock it down to $13,700, but assured me they would pay a lot for my car. I asked for $200 off and they acted like Im crazy. They kept telling me its a brand new car, and my car is so much older. After they decided to fully inspect my car without asking me, some other guy came to give me the offer on my car. Their final offer for my car was $300. When I told him she had been telling me "thousands more than its worth," he said "Yeah, but were giving you such a good deal on the new car, how am I supposed to make any money?" I pointed out that they had an older, slower, junkier Lancer for sale for $7k, but he didnt seem to understand or care. Im well aware any dealership will buy trade-ins for fractions of the value, but $300!??!? She said THOUSANDS more than its worth, which even if it were worth nothing would equal... Thousands! Needless to say, I will never be back, and Ill tell anyone I know buying a car to stay far away from this place. They wasted over 3 hours of my time, when I never asked to buy a new car, and flat out lied about their garbage cars every step of the way. Its too bad, since their service department has great customer service. But, apparently Steven dealerships are bait-and-switch con artists. I worry about how many people theyve ripped off that didnt know what they were doing.
