DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, ENERGY, OR MOREY HERE YOU ARE BETTER OFF BUYING ONLINE FROM A STRANGER! FIRST OF ALL, DRYER HAD A MASSIVE ROACH IN IT WHEN THEY DELIVERED IT!! We bought a dryer from them had it delivered next day BUT it STOPPED WORKING AFTER ONE LOAD it was ALMOST SETTING OUR CLOTHES ON FIRE. They said we can pick it up for $50 and then another $50 to bring it back so my husband let them pick it up. They replaced the fuse said its good to go. We picked it up and my husband said that online the fee for picking up and delivery was only $25 so that made him upset, then the DRYER FUSE BLEW ON THE FIRST LOAD AGAIN! At this point Im crying I wanted our money back they can have the dryer back. **PLUS OUR DRYER THAT HAD BROKE WAS GIVEN TO THEM FOR FREE OUT OF THE KINDNESS OF OUR HEARTS, HE ALSO SAID IT WOULD BE EVALUATED AND THEY WOULD LET US KNOW HOW MUCH THEY COULD PAY US FOR IT - THAT NEVER HAPPENED!** HE THEN TOLD ME HE WAS GOING TO PAY MY NEIGHBOR FOR HIS WASHER AND DRYER!!!WHO DOES THIS GUY THINK HE IS? So my husband decided to do his homework and print off the official maytag troubleshooting guide for this specific unit. The man kept telling him that it was our ventilation that mustve been the problem and argued with him in the store. We had brand new ventilation installed for the dryer. So finally after making a huge fuss about it he decided to replace the sensors and we could pick it up when it was ready. Got it home and whadya know it worked for ONE LOAD AND BLEW THE FUSE AGAAAIIN! We had to haul not only this dryer back for the 3rd time but have had to take several loads of wet clothes to my mother in laws to use her dryer. After they finally looked at the heater they said they would fix that but they had to wait for parts and blah blah. THEY DONT WANT TO PAY FOR THE APPLIANCES TO BE REFURBISHED CORRECTLY SO THEY GET GARAGE SALE DRIERS OR BROKEN ONES (THAT THEY WILL DOOP YOU INTO GIVING THEM FOR FREE, AND SELL AT ALMOST FULL PRICE FOR USED EQUIPMENT) HE LITERALLY WONT FIX YOUR APPLIANCES EVEN MR. DOESNT FIX IT JUST WANTS IT FOR FREE TO RESELL. I COULD HAVE FIXED MY DRIER FOR $50 AND WE SPENT ALMOST $500 ON WHAT WE ASSUMED WAS A NEW DRIER. IVE NEVER THOUGHT LESS OF SOMEONE WHO IS SUPPOSEDLY A BUSINESS OWNER/ SALESMAN. His coworker very nice young man, should look for another company to work for so he doesnt have to go down with the other imbecile who treats customers like crap and didnt think about 3 things; word of mouth, reviews, and to make sure to have simple common decency to other people. Spoiled brat.

TERRIBLE SERVICE - NO INTEGRITY On Saturday, July 19, 2014, my daughter Kate dropped her iPhone off at Mr. Fix It at 7531 Metcalf, saying she wanted the "sound to work right." They called later and told her it needed a new speaker. They asked if she wanted to replace the cracked screen, too, and believing that her phone WOULD work correctly when they were finished repairing it, she told them to go ahead and put in a new screen. The bill came to $120 with tax — nearly a whole weeks paycheck for her — but the new speaker has NOT taken care of the problem. When she brought this to their attention that same day (Saturday), they offered to re-install the non-working speaker and refund that part of the bill. Kate said she would not have had the screen fixed if the phone couldnt be made to work correctly. So a friend and I (Kates mother) went to talk with them on Monday. The manager, Tom, told us it "might be the motherboard," but had NOT given Kate this same information when she needed it — before authorizing any repairs at all. After all, she could have bought a NEW phone, had she known a faulty motherboard was involved. Moreover, Tom admitted that he should have given her this information. Tom then mentioned "possible water damage," an issue that hadnt been brought up on the day of the repairs, either. I said, "Take the new speaker, take the new screen, TAKE the ENTIRE phone, and give Kate her money back; it is NOT working properly, as expected." Johnny Nang, the tech and owner of Mr. Fix It, is refusing to take responsibility for their negligent diagnosis and shoddy service, not to mention creating good will for this business.

Will never go back to this store and I advise against anyone considering it. Took a broken blender (vintage osterizer with rare design) in for repair, said they would work on it and get back to me. Went in to check on it after not hearing anything for a while and was told they were still trying to locate the necessary part and needed more time. After a little while longer of not hearing back, went to the store to pick up the blender and was told it had been "sent off" somewhere and they could not get it back. Their response was a very lame and insincere "sorry." Very upset about this as this blender belonged to my grandmother and we intended to keep it in the family. The store did not have the courtesy or good business service to call me and give me the chance to pick it up before they sent it to another location. They also have not been able to tell me where it was sent to. (possibly the trash) I would say this definitely goes against the guarantee they list on their website of "We Guarantee you’ll love the work we do or we’ll make it right! Our aim is complete customer satisfaction." BS.

Do Not Use This Company. I recently drop my vaccum off to be cleaned and repaired. After 2 days passed I get a voicemail that my vaccum is ready to be picked up! I was suppose to get a call to tell me a price for the repair and I did not. Once I arrive at the location I am suprise to hear that they are charging me $40 for cleaning. The are selling same model vaccum in there store for $45-55. So I pay the fee and take the vaccum home. I try to vaccum with the vaccum and it doesnt pick up anything. The wind tunnel isnt working. I call the company explain the situation and the guy ask me to bring it back. I drop the vaccum off and they call me back less then 10 minutes later asking to pay another $20. I tell them I just paid you yesterday to fix it. He said I did but I will cost another $20 to fix it agian. This company is a ripe off. Do not use them. The a banking on you to say forget it and then they will resale your vaccum on there show room floor for the amount the charge to clean them.. Buyer Beware!!! I am disputing the charges with my credit card company

BEWARE! These guys came to look at two washers at my house and first told me that one needed a motor, and a transmission on the other. They did the diagnosis without even taking either machine apart, which takes all of three minutes to pull the shell off a washer. The "technician" then said that both washers were junk and they should be replaced...and he would sell me a new one. Both of these machines are less than ten years old. He then said that getting a new washer in the basement would be very difficult because they no longer make washers this size (BS!). When I called to complain, Mr Fixit said this guy is a sub-contractor, and now both machines have faulty transmissions, which happens to be one of the most expensive repairs. My problem with one machine is no spin cycle, which is likely a motor coupling ($5 on Amazon), and very easy to fix with the help of a you tube video. The second washer wont drain (sounds like a transmission, right?), ordered a pump ($10 on Amazon), and an even easier fix than the other. Save your money, these guys are crooks!
