Food prices here range from standard prices for some unblemished items to less than 1/5th regular prices for some dented cans of food and items within days of the sell-by date. Ecologically speaking this recovers value of packaged foods with all their embodied energy that otherwise is wasted in expediency as warehouse malfunctions damage packaging. They do a good job of finding stuff that is cosmetically damaged, yet in fine shape. Ive never seen evidence there of rust or a damaged seam that could risk food quality. As I recycle my last receipt (Nov 2011, I live in MN thus only grab bargains worth cramming into a carpool trunk in route for Thanksgiving), I see 25 items cost <$16. There are no sales people, just people who efficiently keep shelves stocked and process sales at the register. People are friendly, but to the point; helpful when asked. Dont expect small talk or even much conversation. Street address = 2298 540th St, but that would shift the Google location marker from their parking lot entrance.

Great deals, spacious and non-pretentious. My favorite "scratch and dent" store, just keep an eye on "best by" and expiration dates, remembering that "best by" simply means thats the date is still at top quality. Carries canned and packaged food, odds and ends of hair and bath product, toilet paper at a great price, lots of cheap candy, coffee, tea, juice & non- alcoholic beverages, some gourmet items... School and cleaning supplies, meds, misc. Ample parking, they provide boxes and bags for you to load your purchases in. Not open daily - Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday only.

Never leave without stopping. Get alot for the prices. Can restock pantry with more than I have shelves for in a single trip. My vehicles always loaded for 3-4 months,or more, with the basic needs. Better than any grocery store around.
