I have shopped at this Fareway since it opened. I wont shop anywhere else even for sale items because Fareway matches prices for you. No taking in ads no hassle. I special order from the meat counter all the time and they always give me the best price deals. Friendly, happy, helpful people and the last of the grocery stores that actually load your groceries for you and ALWAYS WITH A SMILE. The only thing I would change is I wish they had a on site bakery.

Their prices are lower than Hyvee, and the quality of their meat, produce, and even their in-house brand dairy is way better. This store may not be big and shiny, and they may lack an abundance of specialty items, but for the basics, this is the place to go. p.s. the so-called "smell" some people dislike is the strong smell of their in store freshly-smoked meats, which I think are fantastic.

I got everything on my list quickly as I am familiar with the Store layout. Even though it was the last day of the sale, all the items I wanted from AD was available. Only problem, at the Checkout; the card reader screen froze so the next cashier had to scan my receipt which only took seconds! All the employees are ALWAYS helpful so I feel very appreciated doing My shopping there.

The second the doors open you are blasted in the face by the scent of meat, considering the meat department is in the rear of the building, i dont see this as a good thing. Aside from the poor selection and look of a discount market, the unhelpful staff and counterless checkouts, leave nothing positive about the entire shopping experience. Avoid at all costs.

I love the service at this Fareway. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. I love how helpful they are when I need to find a product. I love the quality of meat. They have a great natural food section. All employees are eager to help and make sure I am taken care of and get everything I need.

Ive always liked fareway with there old school value and them sending person to carry your groceries for you which is nice. I like how they are dressed up and look nice. I bought some pulled pork from there and it was amazing Im going to back there to buy some more meat from them.

My groceries totalled ten dollars in price by their listed sales price. When I arrived at the register, they charged me $12.50. They claimed it was all taxes, but I know sales tax isnt 25%. Dont go here. They dont honor their sales. Go to Walmart down the road.

A classic small-town grocery experience. If youre looking for great local meats at even greater prices, stop here! And the meats.... Holy crap! They should use the slogan "We Have the Meats!.....(screw Arbys)).

The Fareway store on 16th Avenue in Cedar Rapids, Iowa has a GREAT staff who are very helpful. Jonathan just loaded my groceries in a down pour and he displayed "Great Customer Service"!
