I have visited this store several times and my experience has varied each time. First time Ron had the primers I needed when everyone else was out and the price was resonable. I returned several times after for various reloading supplies. One time I used him for an FFL transfer, this was also a good experience. A few months later I called him about another FFL transfer and after asking me what type of firearm I wanted to transfer, he said that he didnt want to do it because I could probably find one locally. I asked if he had any and he stated that he didnt but could get me one. When I told him how much I had paid for the one that I purchased New on Gunbroker, he told me he couldnt even come close to that price but "if I could find someone to transfer it, hold on to it because the prices are going to go up quickly." He got off the phone quickly, turning down repeat business and another $25 transfer fee I suppose because he felt betrayed that people purchase things online sometimes and not from him or a local shop. Understandable to an extent, but I felt like he could have helped me with my transfer since I had already purchased it and for a great price. At least he would have made $25 for a 3 minute phone conversation with NCIC. Whatever, I found another FFL even closer to me that only charges half as much and another local shop that has excellent customer service and great prices. Overall, I felt no loyalty from Ron depite my previous purchases and repeat business so I probably wont be back.

I had just moved to the area from south bend IN and wanted to fine a new local gun shop. I had seen their sign and looked them up online and looked at their pics on Facebook then went to the store. The the pics give an impression of a store alot bigger than what it was, but that was not a big deal. The good thing about this store was they were friendly and willing to help and had a good size selection for a store their size. But the bad thing was a lot of their stuff was way over priced compared to other dealers that I go to. There were a few things fairly priced, but the glocks were marked up over a $100 more than what their standard retail price is. I was looking at a sig sauer 2022 which runs around 500 give or take and they were selling it for like $630. When I asked why it was so much they said it was actually under price. So they are either ignorant or they lied. So to sum it up, friendly service and good selection, bad prices and liars or are ignorant. Also I have heard one day he is very nice and the next a complete ass and very rude. I will not be going back there.

Very pleased with my trip here. Both gentlemen were extremely friendly and helpful. They have an impressive selection for such a small shop. This is the perfect place for new shooters and experienced shooters alike. You will not be disappointed! EDIT:My second trip to Target Sports was even better than the first. I went in to purchase a handgun with my mother and got a whole lot more than that. Not only did I walk out with a fantastic little gun, I also learned a ton! These guys are extremely friendly and more than willing to share their knowledge if you’re willing to listen. The gentleman that helped us talked me OUT OF buying a 600$ gun for a 200$ gun and gave me thorough information as to why. Now that’s excellent business. After our trip to Target Sports we took our new “toy” for a test run and we are extremely satisfied with not only our firearm, but with our excellent buying experience. I will only buy from Target Sports!

I used to go to target sports a lot until I bought a rifle; the man said that he would boar sight it in when i come and get it. Moral of this story I had to waste rounds to sight it in. I gave the place another chance and the store owner told the man behind my dad in line that he could cut him the man said no, and said that my dad was in front of him, the owner said that it was OK because my dad was just kicking tires. I never been back since. I wouldt recommend anyone buying anything from this place 1 because they usually mark up their guns by over $100 when you can find it cheaper anywhere else. and 2 because if he sees that you arent buying anything right away, then he will pressure you to buy something and be very rude about it.

Stopped into the shop a couple of times only made one purchase which was a AR trigger and bolt carrier group. the owner was very knowledgeable about building AR which is what Im doing. Was very friendly and freely gave more information than I was asking for. The only really downside to the experience was he talked forever but I dont necessarily think that was a bad thing I gave a lot of really good information in regards to reloading and the process I should go through to build my new AR. There were some negative reviews about him being basically rude or an a****** but I did not see that when I was there. Will definitely stop back again and make more purchases in the future.

Took an old .22 in for cleaning. Pleased with the outcome. Even more pleased with the service and information provided by the owner Ron. I had several questions regarding target rifles and ARs. Ron was a wealth of information and took the time to thoroughly answer my questions (without any condescension). Im not in the market for a new pistol or rifle at this time, but when I am, it will be purchased from His & Hers Target Sports. Ive seen the place packed, standing room only (when I dropped off the .22 for cleaning). A visit during off-peak hours will likely yield the best and most beneficial interaction with the owners and staff. Well worth the drive to Sheridan.

I have bought 3-4 guns from this place and was pleased with their selection. Prices are high. But I wont be back to this shop because of the owners unpredictable temper. Every time I have been into the shop, he has quite literally yelled at customers! He is very rude and called me a "damn idiot" for calling in to see what his price was on a gun because I had a better price elsewhere. Dude, how can I price around if youre going to chew me out for passing up a deal that was better than his. How am I supposed to know this before calling? I was just trying to give home some business. Anyway, I had to hang up because he wouldnt take a breath from cursing at me.

Great store. Competitive prices. Ron is very knowledgeable and only charges a very modest $25 (as of May 5th 2012) for FFL services. For such a small store, Ron really shows his retail skill by cramming every square inch of display space full of a variety of firearms, defensive weapons, and varied accessories. If you are looking for a full-service firearms retailer/smithing shop that sells and buys weapons at fair prices, then this is the one for you. If you only want an ignorant salesman that bows and scrapes to get your money and you out the door then you would probably be better off at a regional/national chain of sporting goods stores.
