My daughter bought a Toshiba laptop for college that was recommended by the sales person. In less than 2 months the monitor would go off and you would have to reboot to get it back. We took it back to Best Buy to be told we had to contact Toshiba. After only talking to 7 different people and being on hold on and off for almost 90 mins they said we had to ship it back to them they did not have a local place to service this laptop. We sent it UPS to them and got it back in 5 days with a letter saying there was no problem found. 2 weeks later and another hour or more on hold I e mailed them a video of the lap top monitor going out. They once again told me to ship it to them and once again UPS took the thing to them. A week later we got it back once again and they said there was a hardware failure and they replaced the monitor. The monitor is once again not right it is now for no apparent reason randomly changing screen resolution you can open and close the thing a couple of times and it will go back to where it was. A few mins later it will do it again and again. I just called them to deal with this again only to be told Oh your warranty is no longer valid you have to pay to talk to someone. I then called best buy where we bought the thing only to be told sorry we just sell those things you have to deal with Toshiba. I will never again walk into a best buy and every customer i ever come in contact with in the future when they ask me to recommend a new computer will hear this story for as long as i live. As a xfinity data tech this happens on a regular basis. I need to add I am now back on hold with Toshiba as if they will not fix the problem and the warranty is out i took it apart to see if it was a loose connection and it in fact is. I am not a Toshiba Tech however if i had to guess i would say the loose connection was caused by the fact who ever did replace the LCD last time left over half the mounting screws out. The Satellite has 2 screws on the top then it has 3 screws down both sides to slide the Screen out the top. the two top screws were in and tight the top screw on the left side was in the other 5 are not in the mount and are missing.

Look I dont have a problem with this location at all, but I do have a MAJOR problem with the Corporate headquarters I placed an order on February 5th for a a computer bundle, however the order did not make it all the way through processing. The issue, is that the credit card I used needed to have its information put through again, and when I called MULTIPLE times no one could seem to help me. So the order seems to be stuck in some sort of LIMBO where it hasnt charged the card, and it is not being processed. I called TWO more times to cancel the order, and BOTH times your reps told me it had some sort of lock on it, making it unable to cancel. IF this situation ever gets resolved, Ill probably be taking my money else where. Fun fact, I emailed them directly (because calling them 5 times didnt work at all) and they responded saying I should call them to resolve the issue. It may be an automated email, but the fact that NOTHING is getting done further solidifies I WILL NOT SHOP AT BEST BUY AGAIN!

Utterly unprofessional. People standing around without offering help as I walked around the store. I attempted to ask one person a question and was completely ignored. I walked to the front to ask the "greeter" (who also ignored me) a question on where to check out since they had the entire section blocked off and he told me to just go around to the back past where it was blocked off but there was nowhere to go except where staff go. People at "customer service" were just hanging out at the desk and when I asked if this is where I can check out, I just got a smirk and a "Sure, I guess." Then, as Im trying to use a coupon on the one item I purchased, I couldnt use it because it was allegedly already on sale, but there were no signs suggesting it was on sale. A chaotic store with a lack of communication and concern for clients. What a shame, Muncie deserves better service.

WOW after reading the reviews I had to look up the address to make sure that I was at the right store. I have never had an issue with the staff of this store. Returned several electronic devices covered under the extended warranty and am very pleased with the way things were handled. My most recent purchase was Monday Feb. 8, 2015 at about 11:00am, I was politely greeted when I walked into the store and had 2 separate employees ask me if I needed help finding what I was looking for. when the third employee asked me the same question I gave in because I really didnt have a clue where the product was that I was looking for anyway. Short of it is within 10 minutes of being in the store I was checking out and the employee remembered to ask me if I had any reward certificates, I hadnt even thought to check, that alone saved me $ and I will continue to go back.

We purchase a lot from Best Buy. This Best Buy is kind of small for a Best Buy store but for what we needed and wanted at this particular store I will say the sales man went above and beyond to help us and explain things to us. My husband purchased me a Lenovo Yoga laptop or think pad that some call it. There are features that I didnt know anything about and the sales man explained and showed me how to use some features and make feel comfortable about purchasing this laptop/think pad for what I needed it to do. For great service and the selection of electronics I highly recommend this particular Best Buy.

Like any electronics store you can imagine that its pretty much just that. Its a store where the blue shirts wont leave you alone and if you do have a question its unlikely that they actually know the answer. They have some decent products and deals but are leaning heavily on their online inventory and have practically emptied out their shelves in store in order to keep up with the internet crowd. Sorry to say its a decent place to get a thumb drive but has lost a lot of credibility over the past 10 years.

I really love the knowledge and experience of the staff. They broke things down so we could make an informed decision about which laptop to purchase and the accessories we needed to do what we wanted to do with it. They also were honest...if something less expensive would do as good as something higher priced, they let us know.

This Best Buy is great. Wow. So much good in one place. They have many electric stuffs. Good. So amazed by the customer service and the good experience. Yes. The geek squad? PHENOMENAL. Holy cow. Much knowledge. Very tech. Ill never buy anything else from anywhere else ever. They always left me satisfied and smiling.
