We were on a road trip and discovered that this place was on our route. Our son loves the videos so we planned to stop. The brochure and reviews made this place look like it would be awesome. It was rather disappointing. The entire studio side where the actual train layouts are was closed. On the store side theres lots of old model trains for sale and a room of toys that you can find in any toy isle. My opinion may be more negative because I was followed around the entire time by a sales clerk trying to hard sell me on every train in the place. I dont see us returning in the future. The DVD videos are still good though.

This shop can be found on a county road outside of Michigan City. They sell a variety of Lionel O gauge train items as well as other train toys. There is a large Lionel layout present for train enthusiasts. The family business also produces the "I Love Toy Trains" videos and sell them in the store. My son, who loves trains, always talks about visiting. The shop is close to the Heston Train Museum. Makes for a great day trip.

This wonderful toy store has a HUGE collection of Lionel model trains as well as many other farm and automotive replicas, floor puzzles, and other various kids toys. I highly recommend this store both as a delightful sightseeing opportunity but also for the quality toys and other materials they have for sale!

They have O gauge and the stuff that go with it. They also have a nice layout set up. They do need a bigger sign if your a first timer. But thanks to Google maps it took me right there
