My wife and I just moved to the area and noticed this garden center as we were driving towards the city. Stopped the other day by for some advice and to pick up a tree or two. We were very impressed with the how much variety Amanda (the owner) had there. The grounds were very well kept and the shop itself had plenty of character to it. The best part was definitely the knowledge Amanda was more than happy to provide us in trying to figure out what would work best around our new house. Its always nice to find a well ran, local business to support and well surely be going back to Salsberry in the future. Oh, Scarlet Lane Brewery is a stones throw away, so it was great to have an excellent craft beer after our garden shopping!

Ok I used to be the worlds worst gardener. I had a black thumb, and black eye from my wife because I couldnt keep out potato/tomato/chili/lily alive. I went and talked to the friendly folks at SGC and realized I was doing everything wrong! Not only that, they taught me how to do it right! What a delight!

The most beautiful mums in town. Grown in Kokomo, Indiana, these mums are huge! Beautiful place with unusual garden items.
