This is the first time I have stopped here. I am semi new to Lafayette and the only other place I have had was called corlew donut company or something like that on Veterans Memorial. They were awful (service and price wise) and everybody at Subaru told me to try here. I was there about 5 minutes before 5 a.m. (when they open) so I waited until I saw the lady approaching the door to walk up to the door so no one felt rushed. She unlocked it, but did not open it for me and huffed as she walked away LOL seems like she didnt really want me there. I said good morning and tried to make some small talk and she didnt seem too happy to see me or speak to me so I got my donuts and left. Their prices are very reasonable, the donuts are delicious, but the service could use some work I guess. Other than that, I would recommend this place. It is for sure better than the other one that I have tried.

Mary Lous Donuts are the result extreme amounts of TLC and the best ingredients Mary can find. As soon as you walk through the doors of that pyramid shaped hut a strong aroma hits you in the face. It then enters your nose and travels straight to your heart. The regular customers all greet you with a warm hello and pat on the back as you walk up to the counter. Once youve reached the counter a strong sense of anxiety over takes you as you fret over which donuts to choose. Not to fear! The sweet cherubs who serve the donuts to hungry customers will help guide you through the process. I always feel full and satisfied after a trip to Mary Lous.

I have been going to Mary Lous for 44 years. I used to go with my Great-Grandma. I live an hour away now. When I come back to Lafayette I cant come back to Indianapolis without a dozen Donuts. The Apple Fritters melt in your mouth, the glazed yeast donuts are better than Indys Longs Bakery. My favorite since I was just a little girl are the blueberry Jelly donuts. Another favorite are the Bavarian Cream with chocolate icing. Then, there are the Blueberry Cake ones. I should have bought a box of 12 + a bag of 3. By the time I drove back to Indy, a few were missing from the box.

Excellent donuts! However the girl with the purple colored hair has never been friendly. I buy around 8 dozen donuts a week from Mary Lous and everytime I see that she is going to serve me I cringe. Also I would like to see on a Saturday with as busy as they are more donuts being made. Every Saturday I make the trip down there and there are limited donuts. And when I ask if there will be anymore of a particular kind the same girl with the purple hair gives me a short and rude response. Perhaps her working up front interacting with the customers should be rethought.

Since I moved to this area 7 years ago all Ive heard is how great the donuts are at Mary Lous. Finally I decided to find out for myself. The donuts are the same you can get anywhere else..nothing spectacular. The only noticeable difference was that the price was double the price of other places. The inside was so dark it took several minutes for me to make anything out. Additionally a sign out front would be a great idea if you want people to find your company. Overall very average.

This is the best place to get donuts in the Lafayette area. They are cheap, very yummy, and it even has a drive-thru. The service itself isnt always that great (Ive only been smiled at maybe 25% of the time), but with donuts like these you dont need good customer service. Purdue students take note: this is one of the hidden gems near campus. You have to go at least once during your college stay.

Both times Ive been here the woman working the cash register has been incredibly unfriendly. Despite this, the donuts are delicious and are very inexpensive, but I would be much more inclined to return if the only interaction you have with the staff there wasnt a grumpy woman seemingly inconvenienced by your inability to decide on a donut selection immediately after entering the store

Best donuts in Lafayette... which is the only reason I go there. If you are a regular or a friend of an employee expect to be smiled at and greeted warmly. If neither of these: expect to be stared at like you are an intruder. Customer service is pretty close to the worst of any place I have ever gone to - no smiles, no warmth and definitely no "welcoming" feeling.

I find myself often craving apple fritters, so I took a trip to Mary Lous since it was the closest donut place. The place itself gives you an older, very kindred vibe. The price was about half of what I pay at other places, and the staff was so sweet and humble. I tried tipping and they ever so softly said no thank you. I will definitely be back for more!

Probably my favorite local donut shop. The prices have risen in recent years but the donuts are worth it. As popular as they are, it surprises me that they still remain closed on Sundays and do not take credit cards. Be prepared to wait in a long line inside or at the drive-through window.

Mary Lous has the best donuts in the area hands down! Their apple fritters are amazing, especially if you get them when they are still warm! There is one women who works here who has a terrible attitude and temper, so stay cleat from her

Some of the best donuts Ive ever had. Made several pilgrimages across the Wabash while a student at Purdue, and each was worth it. Original glazed is my favorite, but have not had a bad Mary Lou donut of any kind. Great prices as well.

Quite possibly the best donuts in Lafayette. Apple fritters are simply AMAZING! Not much on taking care of people in the order they arrive, you really have to stand your ground or else somebody will cut in front of you. Cash only...

Its cash only, but theres an ATM inside with a low fee. The donuts are second-to-none in Lafayette and surrounding cities. My wife, son, and I go on a regular basis when we have a free Saturday morning. Highly recommended!!!

Amazing donuts at a great price! We visit this place at least once a week (more when my wife is pregnant), and always feel like the prices are extremely low and the quality is extremely high. Come prepped with cash, though!
