Went in to look at some iron skillets.. couldnt find the price on one I liked, I asked for help from two employees that was by the skillets they was stocking shelves. . They was walking away I said excuse me they said they would come back to help me...so I waited they came back finished stocking the shelf and walked away without comeing over to see what I wanted. I tried to get the attention again but they inored me. I was walking out cause I figured you dont really want my business if you treat people like that. I seen one of the girls talking to another employee in the front.. I stopped and told her thanks for comeing back to help me when you said you would she stood there and didnt say much... I will never walk in that store again and if anybody ask me about it I will tell them how rude and unhelpful the employees are...you lost a good sale .and a customer..

i was there to get some archery supplies namely 6 arrows cut. 45 minute wait and i decided to leave. i even took a number from the gun counter and they just went ahead and skipped me. I did have the entertainment of watching a young kid pick up the phone and place the man on hold no big deal. 25 minutes later the other man working the counter picks up the phone and starts mocking the man on the phone before saying "i got something for you" and hanging up the phone. So if you would like to experience service worse than the TSA you found your store.

Limited supply (stores in other towns have more). No one came to help me in the shoe department and waited for 20 minutes in line because no else came to do check out and the one girl doing check out was too eager to help the cute guy in front me with a firearm which he ended up not purchasing. In comparison to other Gander mountains in other towns this one is not up to par.

Our competition when we owned a bait and tackle store in aurora Illinois was the oldest back then began in 1946 by joy smith and his family we took over in 1999. Sold it in 2005. We beat everybody hands down for product sales and service nobody came close.not even cabelas. Our store was known all over northern illinois on the fox river now gone but not forgotten.

Cant say much for the entire store but Matt, the bow technician, is great. He took time to make sure my bow was adjusted properly to my needs when I took it in for repair. He answered a ton of my questions. I will be going back for any archery needs.

Do not go here, it might be ok if your looking to buy brand new over priced items, but I went to get my arrows re-fletched and the story went from there was a misunderstanding and they did not get done, to we no longer Fletch arrows here.

Typical big box style of store. However, the gun counter guys were extremely helpful in recommending a firearm for my needs and answer all questions thoroughly without hesitation. Store is clean and all staff is helpful and friendly.

Even as they are closing the customer service was non-existent. We have been regular shoppers and discovered the "markdown" prices were even higher than before the closing. Good riddance Gander Mountain!

Terrible experience stood around to buy a new scope tonight for 30 mins. No one around . I can see why this company is going bankrupt. Only reason Ill go back is it get rid of these gift cards.

Lots of guns but overpriced. Good place for people to get their hands on the weapon they like. Not many options for reloading supplies. Thats one thing that need to be improved significantly.
