We have been taking our dog to this location for the last 4 years. The grooming department manager has always been very friendly and professional. Last week we took our dog in for grooming, cleaning of her glands, and removing the extra hair inside her ears (as it was suggested by the Vet). Our dog came back traumatized from the visit! She was shaking like never before since the moment she came home. She was behaving very strange and would not stop shaking. After we inspected her, she had a few cuts under her front legs and scratches on her paws. We took her back to Petco and we received our money back, but our dog was even more traumatized by entering the store, we almost had to drag her to enter the store to show the manager the cuts. Since that day she has been acting afraid, and has been licking her wounds. To add to this terrible experience, today we found that she has blood inside her ears, where the hair was removed. We believe the person who did this ripped off the hair without taking any care. We tried to clean some of the dry blood and she started to cry and shake. I never advocate for people getting fired from a job, because I know times are rough and people need jobs, but I absolutely believe that the person who did this is in the wrong job, and he or she should not be doing this work. I am sorry that this happened as well because we have been loyal customers at Petco, but we cannot continue to put our dog through mistreatment like this anymore. She is part of our family and we are feeling her pain. Getting our money back does not take care of the trauma that our dear pet went through. I hope that this review serves to keep Petco on check about who they hire to work with our pets. People need to be trained properly and they must know that customers know their pets, and that we are ready to speak when they have been mistreated. Also, employees must know that we are paying for good services, and that money does not matter when it comes to the health and wellbeing of a family member. I am not just looking for compensation, I am looking for humane treatment to our pets.

The staff here are rude and uncaring. For you and your pets. Their staff are not knowledgeable for the pets they sell so good luck getting correct care information if you want anything other than a cat, dog or hamster. I bought a pet snake and it wont take frozen mice or any other food unless it is live and they refuse to sell to me anymore. They used to sell to me and now they dont. I thought I found a reliable place to go to for my pets food with understanding that she wont take pre-dead food and then they turn around and dont care. I absolutely despise this place and their crappy staff.

The staff here are always so helpful. When I adopted my dog they made sure that I got all of the coupons I could use and gave me additional discounts for grooming on top of that. They were very flexible and forgiving when I had to reschedule the grooming appointment a few times. I would of course prefer to spend my money at a locally owned feed store, but I have been so happy with the customer service at this Petco every time Ive been.

When online to get doggie steps TSC had them for 39.00 got there didnt carry it, came to Petco and the same one was 59.00, the female sales rep split the difference got it for 45. Great deal , friendly, great service..thanks, I have been a member for years, take my grbabies in a lot for " adventure time" with animals in the winter when the zoo is closed, always a great time, lots of pets to see and touch..

I dont even know if I want to put one star on here. Just went and paid $35 for my dog to have the works done for him. The only thing that was done was his hair around his penis cut. The cut his whiskers all the way off and no hair on the rest of his body was cut. He doesnt even smell like he has been shampooed. This is the worst place ever !!!! Dont recommend anyone to take their pets there.

I have gotten my senior pit bull groomed here & this has been the first place I come when I need anything for him ever since I got him. It doesnt matter which groomer he goes to they always do an amazing job, and take such good care of him. They even always treated every animal Ive seen in the store as if it were their own fur baby.

Went to take my dog (westie) Harley to get groomed., was told later he was to aggressive.....wtf? He has been here and groomed before with no probs.. I believe diff. employees with crappy attitudes. Never again....waste of time.

I get my dog groomed. The same person always does it. She goes out of their way to help our dog relax. She is very gentle. They take their time and do not anesthetize as some groomers who have no patience for dogs perfer to do.

Animals are poorly taken care of....cages are filthy, tanks are full of dead fish and the grooming dept should have a daytime gossip channel, because everytime i come in, thats what they are doing instead of working. Horrible!!

Their staff is really helpful, and they offer anything you can think of for animals, and you can bring your pets, and they have a pet salon, but their prices are really high. We mostly go there to look at the animals.
