The store is great! They have a Barnes & Noble café with sell Starbucks beverages, but they bake their own cookies, scones, muffins, and other assorted treats fresh in the store throughout the day. The booksellers are very helpful and knowledgable. They have a $25 membership and with that you get 10% off everything in the store, online, and in the café. Yes, thats 10% off all that Starbucks goodness! They have a member club for the kids that register where they get a free cupcake or cookie for their birthday, they get invitations to all kids events, and they get discounts and coupons via email for special items. And the discounts stack on top of each other, meaning that you get your 10% off and then the coupons are discounted on that already discounted price. Definitely a great place to get local books specific to Indy and the surrounding areas. Great place to shop and grab a latté!

Might as well go shopping online to save the money, there was books that was priced higher in the store than the online website on Barnes & Noble. Well ok, thats fine since I thought they would be able to price match to their own website but apparently they couldnt. Something about shipping and all that or something which makes it that you cant price match but online shopping wouldve still been cheaper, especially if you are buying books worth of $25 so that you can get free shipping on the website. I think that policy is trash but I guess it is a policy that they have. Instead of going to the store, I would recommend shopping somewhere else or online. Amazon typically has a lot of the books and it is much cheaper.

As an old generic chain goes I guess this place is okay. Its so dead inside that there are often no people at the registers. When you can get everything quickly and cheaply from Amazon why even bother with a place like this? I did find a book I wanted that was rather expensive. I looked it up on Amazon and it was actually the same price. I then went to the Barnes & Nobles webpage and found that it was a lot cheaper. When I took the book up to the registers they told me that they had no connection to the webpage. So I guess even their webpage doesnt want you to go to the store.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming as soon as you step in. I often come here to do homework, enjoying the scents of various baked goods (always irresistible!). Even better, however, is the smell of new books as you wander through the well-organized rows of novels, short stories, guide books, fantasy books, and many more. If you are more inclined towards art and writing, there are even beautiful journals and art supplies available. I am so grateful to this book store for creating such a welcoming and enjoyable environment. Ill definitely be going back soon!

Vinyl selection is great. Book selection is great. Board Game selection is amazing. Expect to find hot games here earlier than most other outlets. Whomever does their buying of games for the stores in this area does a really good job. You will also find that this store gets lots of authors popping in for readings and signings. I was able to meet George R.R. Martin here! You will also find signed editions of novels from popular contemporary authors for sale.

I will be the first to say it, I am not a book lover or a book person. However, even I can easily spend some time going through cookbooks and magazines, oh and dont forget they have board games too. My son loves to come here, and really enjoys the LEGO and train tables - as well as convincing us to not leave without a new book for him. It has become a fun family place to go, which I never would have guessed.

Be sure you use the restroom/bathroom before you visit this store. The mens and womens restrooms are disgusting, smelly and dirty. Mention this to the staff and first they argue with you and then they say, ". . . Oh, but we have someone clean them every morning before nine." Pfffffft If you have to use the restroom, go next door to OfficeMax or Petsmart. They clea. Their restrooms.

This is one of the downfalls of the internet stores like this are going away theres nothing like going into a good Barnes & Noble booksellers store and just browsing the books picking up one sitting down and going through it

I always come here for the magazines, of which they have the largest selection around. They also have a good selection of boards games and puzzles for kids. And of course a good book selection.

Great place to look for books or just hangout and read for a bit. This location does have a Starbucks, but it does not accept gold cards or offer any discounts associated with them.

Only bookstore that I go too. Great selection of books, music, kids toys, etc. Nice Starbucks with food from Cheesecake Factory. Read that they will sell wine and beer soon also.
