I worked there for 3 months as Assistant Manager and never trained properly or was given any accurate information on anything!! Was left alone at times when were the busiest for 5 to 6 hours at a time with no breaks to use the restroom, to eat or to even be able to get a drink!! Poorly Managed by The District Manager!!! Whom I met twice and was talked down to as I were beneath her . The Dollar General Corporation doesnt care one bit about their older store or Employees!! Just wants to keep opening up new stores to show a profit!! Sad sad sad way to run a "Family" Business!!!! I have this job my all and put my heart in to it as well!! Loved my customers but just couldnt handle the stress of being lied to and being under paid for the amount of hard work I had to endure.

Cheap household goods what more is there to say. Some of the products are flimsy and barely worth the effort; what could you expect for the price. Be sure to check out the clearance section next to the toy aisle; alot of respectable deals to be found.
