I had an expensive recumbent bike that was in excellent condition that was picked up by this local Play It Again Sports because I have severe back issues and was otherwise unable to bring the equipment in myself. The owner, Mike, told me that I would have to pay for the pickup (not a problem) and that I would be charged the exact same price that Play It Again Sports would be charged in this regard, but that I was absolutely not to discuss this information with the driver in any way. Six hours after the pickup, I hadnt heard anything, so I called the store and was told by the owner that the driver had never dropped off the bike, so I probably wouldn’t be getting anything for it. I called the driver and he stated that the bike was dropped off right after it was picked up. So I called Play it Again Sports and, this time, I spoke to a clerk who advised that the bike was indeed dropped off earlier and that it was not only in plain sight, but also in excellent condition. A manager separately confirmed this and advised that this type of bike was traditionally a hot seller and that it would probably sell for between $350 to $400, which would give me an in-pocket consignment of between $175 and $200 after the sale. So I called back the next day to find out what was going on and the owner, Mike, told me that he would only give me $25 and that I was going to be charged $150 for the pickup. Luckily, I still had the pickup drivers cell phone number and I asked him if he wouldnt mind my knowing how much he had been paid for picking up my equipment. The driver advised that he was only paid $50. When I confronted the owner about this, he angrily stated I was not supposed to have disused this with the driver. He also told me that I should take the $25, shut up, or come in and pick up the bike. He knew very well about my disability, so he figured that I would just tuck my tail between my legs and take the money. Instead, I contacted the Better Business Bureau.

I was super excited when I walked in to the store and saw the volume and variety of equipment available. We were looking for roller skates for my 5 1/2 year old. I didnt expect a large variety due to in line skates being so popular. However, the selection that was available was pretty beaten up, worn out and the price tag was only $20 less than Dicks for brand new, perfect roller skates (only $4-8 less than Amazon)! Its almost like they were practically pricing all the roller skates the same price no matter what the condition of the skate. We bought our skates from Amazon instead since at least we got a brand new pair for the same price as beaten up ones. I would consider coming back over here for other items, but I will definitely be pricing out other stores/options prior to walking into the store so I know what is a reasonable price range.

Sold my Forum snowboard boots to them for $10. 2 days later I return to sell bindings, while I waited a seen my boots on the shelf for $50! Offered me $5 on a pair of carbon Sims bindings. Ill be back to look at that price. I understand they have to make a profit but they are low balling people too much. This place is a joke. Absolutely no reason the mark up the price by 500%.... unreal.

Called wanting to buy a wrestling singlet because another site said they sold them. Lady said she "wasnt at liberty" to discuss those details and hung up on me without warning. Had to call a second time only to be told they dont sell wrestling singlets. She could have said it more politely without the attitude. Bad service. Wont shop here anytime soon.

Although the available selection varies from day to day, it is usually good enough. Prices are reasonable and definitely worth checking it out if you have a growing family or want to try a new sport. Ive bought lacrosse, baseball, soccer, biking, skateboard, and exercise equipment for example.

I have sold a few things back to them. Did not get what I expected, but I should consider they need to make a profit. Best part was store credit and a deep selection of frisbee golf discs. I got good quality (mid level player), new discs for what regular stores sell beginner discs for.

This particular location is full of guys that dont have a clue what there talking about . Especially with bats and the way they sound: dont use this play again location for anything . They have better more experienced locations out there but this one is terrible

Best Sports store I have ever been in. Prices are so low, the staff is very helpful and they have new and used equipment. I learned it is the biggest one in the country. Indoor batting cage and golf green. Try and buy. This place is awesome.

Could not find a better store with more helpful and attentive staff. We shop for all the kids/adults sports attire. I spent 65 bucks on Sunday for some LaCrosse gear...that would have cost me 325 elsewhere! Keep it up! See you soon!

Be careful, the return policy for used items is practically nonexistent!! The customer service is a zero, with teenagers answering the phone and being unprofessional. It is not run as a business, but as a garage sale:(
