Sarah at the Palatine store helped me with my purchase today and she did such a great job that I felt it necessary to let everyone know about it. She was exceptionally helpful and efficient with trying on shoes and buying the right socks. Sarah had a smile and an awesome customer service attitude from the moment I entered the store. She was never pushy and did not try to "sell" me. Her product knowledge was excellent too. I will return to the Roadrunner Store because I really appreciate customer service at its highest level. The store and its inventory is great for anyone. Theres a wide selection of apparel, shoes and gear. Keep up the high standards!

After trying several other running or tri specialty stores I finally took a friends recommendation advice to check out Road Runner Sports, and am glad I listened. The team at RR did more than the token kneel down and "Ill watch you walk 5 steps" approach. They actually listed to what problems I was having, provided explanations behind likely reasons, and then made customized recommendations to my needs. It was the first shop that actually made me feel like they were more interested in helping me become a better runner than simple making a shoe sale. I will be returning for my future running shoe needs.

This store is great. They have a prettyu big selection of running gear and a very helpful staff. Once I need new shoes I can wait to go in and try thier shoe fitting service Shoedog. Looks like ot could help me pick out a new pair of shoes. I actually went there to find a pair of Saucony running shorts I have been unable to find in another local store. They did not have butthey did have a store brand that worked out very well. Look forward to my return visit now that I am a VIP memeber

I really enjoyed shopping at this store. I was extremely overwhelmed by the selection of athletic shoes at any store and I couldnt get a sales person to answer my questions, but I was able to come into thisatprw and I was talked through everything very clearly. It was a little pricy and I did not enjoy how I was unable to see the prices for items and services befoee paying. However, the friendly, helpful staff did make my experience enjoyable and less stressful.

This place was awesome. My husband, who has enormous feet, has a difficult time shopping for shoes that fit. This is one of the few retailers that can accommodate him. Add to that their custom fitting and youve got a winner. Excellent customer service and showroom. Im very happy with my new kickers!!

Cool little running store, they have a good variety of shoes and a bunch of other things like physical therapy tools. They also can analyse your stride and help you select the right shoe for you based on that. The shoes are organised by type (e.g. stability) so it makes finding what you want easier

I signed up for the rewards program. Went home, 4 hours after being in the store get some odd txt from a number I didnt know. When I asked who it was. It happened to be the clerk who rung me up at the register took my personal information. I will be filing a complaint.

The staff very friendly and helpful with custom fitting. I always come here to get molded inserts as well as the running shoes so for the latter as I know better now what I need it seems to be easier to find a better deal online.

Nice variety of shoes but employees tend to act like doctors and experts when it comes to their ShoeDog gait analysis equipment. Beware of heavy promotion of new shoes
