This stores prices are EXTREMELY high compared to Wal-Mart and H.E.B. For example, the same bottle of wine that costs $10 in Wal-Mart and H.E.B, cost $15 at Albertsons. That might be an extreme case, but just about everything in the store is higher than the others. I use it only as a convenience store. This particular store seems to have a culture of rude, unhappy employees, also. There is very little courtesy, smiles, or help. I recently rented a carpet cleaner, and when I asked the clerk to recommend a cleaning solution to go with it, she gave me what turned out to be nothing but a carpet deoderant, not a cleaner. When I told the very same clerk about it when I returned the machine, she just shrugged and walked off. Great!

Had a really bad experience. I went to the pharmacy and they were not busy at all now I understand why. The technician was rude and tha pharmacist let me waiting because she was too busy atendind a personal call. I asked the pharmacist if what she gave me was the same as the sample I had in my hand and she told me yes without even looking at it. when i told her that i was going to give that my daughter then she realized that she needed to verify that the prescription was the same as the one that I had. I can not believe that being a pharmacist she was about to let me use the wrong prescription on my daughters eyes.

This is my favorite grocery store in Zion. The staff goes out of their way to help. Jewel offers free car loading services which is only one of the reasons why Jewel is a faveorite. The entire store including Jewels large individual restrooms are always very clean. The entire store is ran by friendly, helpful staff. I actually look forward to grocery shopping. I always leave with a smile. As an added bonus I have noticed that Jewel donates every week to the Illinois food bank AND several local food charities!! That is actually less standard than people think. Hi-Fives Jewel!!

I agree that the prices are a little higher than most others but they are close and convenient to me. And the people have been great to me. As a disabled veteran, I sometimes need help and they do that very well. And they always thank me for my service which is nice. I have had one complaint over many years when I bought a loaf of bread that had some green mold inside. Yuk. They offered to replace or refund but I did not bother. I did inform them of the problem however. They are still great people.

Clean and great customer service. Im not going to lie they basically held my hand and walked me through what I needed to do to make amazing tacos the in the meat department. Great great great customer service. The only thing I dont like is the lack of self check out. Other then that is comparable to most other grocery stores in terms of selection price and quality. The melt difference here is the service.

Albertsons now has a gluten-free aisle. Besides that, they customer service is top-notch, fresh meat (butcher available to make bigger pieces packaged down for us solo shoppers, and if they dont have it will attempt to try and get it! Prices are a little more than Walmart but the quality is too!

This store has the worst baggers I have ever seen. Do they train any of them? I seriously doubt it. I could bag better then all of them put together. And could someone tell them to stop placing bags of groceries on top of a womans purse in the cart? How stupid is that?
