I had a scary, dishonest experience here. Last winter, I purchased and was charged for a more expensive, higher memory iphone but the store gave me a lower memory one than what I had paid for. My phone kept on freezing and a month later I took it to a repair place that pointed out the low memory. I called the store, they agreed they had made mistake and said they would make it right. I brought the phone back. After making the phone switch and downloading all of my baby and family photos, Ben the sales associate told me that I had to pay him an additional hundred dollars to leave with my new phone (and all my baby pictures). But he was going to be "nice" and only charge me fifty dollars. This fee was because I did not have the original box for the returned phone. I suspect the store wanted to pass off my phone return to apple as a defective phone rather than their error and apple requires the original box to accept those returns. Ben said if I didnt pay him I was "committing a crime" and "leaving criminally with their merchandise." This is for leaving with the new phone with the appropriate memory that I had paid for in FULL a month earlier!! I was there with my baby and felt unsafe as Ben kept on bullying me and telling me I had to pay him more money for the iphone cardboard box. I finally grabbed my new and fully paid for phone and left with him following me repeating I had to pay him more money or I was committing a crime. I left the store shaking, with my baby in my arms. I immediately called Verizon headquarters who said that I absolutely should NOT have been asked to pay money for the stores error and not to return or contact the store as a safety precaution. This Skokie store is not a Verizon store, just an authorized retailer--and in my experience a shady one.

Staff do not know what they are doing!!! I bought a phone from motorola and brought it to the store for a sim card. They claimed I can not use it. When I said they are wrong, because I checked online before I got there. They claimed that is all they can do with an attitude!!! Act like I do not know what I am talking about. What a Joke!!! I came back to my office and check at the verizon website and result said "Congratulations! Your device works on Verizon Wireless network." I have attached the picture here too. So everyone knows that they are not only wrong and ignorant they also blame you for their mistakes. I would recommend everyone to pass this store and go to another one FOREVER!!!

I walked in and was immediately greeted with smiles. Patrick is new but was extremely helpful. He went above and beyond to help me return my LG V20 for a Pixel XL. Since he was new, Chris the other individual working in the store was happy to provide his knowledge to expedite the process. He was there the whole time answering questions and providing assistance. Great team work and awesome personality. They didnt try to sell or push me to purchase any of their products. I felt comfortable and left satisfied. Patrick even gave me his phone number for any future questions.

They "upgraded" my phone with a refurbished one! SHADY STAY AWAY. ITS WORTH THE EXTRA DRIVE TO STEER CLEAR. I went in to upgrade my phone through my phone plan thinking I was getting a new phone. Without my consent they gave me a refurbished phone. I went to apple today to warranty out my phone (since it was within one year of purchase)...The serial number on my phone shows it had already been taken in for repair and the phone wasnt even in my name...apparently these "authorized retailers" often give out refurbished phones and pretend they are new...

Showed up on 3/18 and there was one representative named Louis (sorry if I butchered it) who was filling in at the location, as his position is business client oriented. Dude absolutely crushed his job. Not only was he alone, he was working with a family of 3, myself, and another woman. Obviously we all know working retail sucks- but this guys resume should read flexible, reliable, and problem solver. Guy rolled with it and displayed the professionalism I have come to expect from Verizon. Give that guy mo money.

Wasnt expecting such great customer service... When i walked in the place i noticed it was set up nice and welcoming and even though the sales representatives were busy w other customers they made sure I was comfortable and occupied during my wait. Shortly they were helping me and i had the phone activated and accessories I wanted, in no time. For my next phone I will definitely be making the trip back there :)

What a lovely experience! When dealing with my cell phones Im always worried that the experience will be difficult and confusing. The employees at this store made all of the information as simple as could be and walked me through the whole process. They got me what I was looking for and even saved me money on my monthly service. I would absolutely recommend this store to anybody. A+ all the way.

We dealt with a guy named Zev, and he was phenomenal, he stayed an extra half hour over closing time, just to ensure they got us setup a new service, which we wanted in a way, but he got it done, just the way we wanted it. I live in Evanston, and the store on Davis street gave me so many issues, that I felt relieved visiting this one. Worth a visit, if everyone is as lucky as we were.

I used to go to another store but after my experience at North Shore Wireless, I will never go to another store and will continue my business with them, The manager was very polite & professional. She was able to fix my bill & save my family $ per month. I would highly recommend this store & to go see the manager for your wireless phone needs!

I called for help and the gent who answered the phone very glibly referred me to the website. I was taken aback so i started over again, adding that my husband would probably want to come in to talk to a human being, but he again referred me to the website. I was dismayed and insulted. This is NOT customer service.

Zev is absolutely the guy to see!! I had so many problems with my phone, I dreaded even going to the Verizon store to deal with it. I wish I had gone sooner -- every problem I had was expediently resolved. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional . . . . Highly recommend this place!!

Today we spend almost 6Hr for adding line. The Manger name is Kevin and his employee didnt help me. They didnt porting the numbers from other carriers to Verizon. They say 10min more but they dont know any thing. My recommendation go to other Verizon store. Dont go this store.

Love this store! It seems all the other stores are "cookie cutter" and are very uncomfortable. This store is designed to treat you like a valuable customer where you can have a low-pressure discussion to make sure you get what you need. 10 Stars if I could!

Kamil was amazing! He is very helpful and doesnt act like a salesman. Ill always be coming back here. I came in just to get quoted and not even to buy anything and he still took lots of time to explain everything to me. Ill be back soon!
