It has been four years since I have been able to be at home with my wife on our anniversary, so this year, I wanted to make sure that I surprise my wife with some flowers at work before celebrating the evening with her. When I called to order flowers for my wife to celebrate our 4 year anniversary, I was greeted and treated very well. However, after communicating that I was purchasing the flowers to celebrate our anniversary, I placed my order, and expected that the flowers will be delivered sometime around noon. My wife did not receive the flowers anytime in the morning or early afternoon hours, so I called back. When I called back, I was told that if I do not specify a time of day, they will simply schedule the delivery has works best for their truck driver, and that next time I should specify that I want them to be delivered in the morning. I would assume that a florist understands that if it is the day of the anniversary, the flowers should be delivered while the person is at their workplace. I would also assume that a good business would call their deliver, and express a certain level of urgency for that delivery. None of this happened, they didnt care, and my wife did not receive my gift that was supposed to help her feel special on our anniversary. Come on guys, it doesnt take eight hours to deliver a bouquet of flowers 1 mile.

We used Olde Schaumburg Flowers for our baby shower on Nov. 30th 2013. We worked over the phone with Katy and Karen; both of whom were just fantastic and accommodating! We talked a few times to organize the event as I am downtown and they (and the event) were in Schaumburg. We did all the planning over the phone and via email regarding colors and the style we wanted for the table center pieces. Both gals were very knowledgeable and detail oriented. Karen was nice enough to make us a sample centerpiece and email it to me so I could approve it before they went ahead and ordered the flowers. The Flowers arrived on time and looked lovely, just as the sample did. They were so easy to work with and I would definitely hire them again for another event.

I have had bad experiences with the online flower ordering companies in the past and decided to try some local flower shops to send my mom flowers for mothers day. Well, Olde Schaumburg flowers were not only polite and friendly on the phone but they also were able to take my order over the phone and make suggestions to make the bouquet perfect. When my mom received her bouquet, she sent me a picture and it was ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! Olde Schaumburg Flowers have exceeded my expectations and it was nice to see an individualized bouquet that was not identical to the typical bouquets you see online that everyone can get. I needed a custom arrangement made, pretty much immediately. I went into the shop, with a picture, vision and very specific request. Olde Schaumburg Flowers was able to replicate the picture with what flowers they had on hand and deliver next day. The arrangement was absolutely beautiful and made the recipient smile ear from ear.
