What can be said about Galactic Games and Things? Well quite a lot actually. The store owner is a very well accomplished business man and knows how to keep attracting customers back. A really friendly guy who takes care of his customers The Magic: The Gathering tournaments are rather fun and the people are always friendly there. No one gets angry or verbally aggressive, and over all it runs smoothly. There are many comic books to choose from and also figurines to collect. The store also has many table top games to further your gaming experience. It also has plenty of board games to choose from so one simply does not get bored. If there is a game or figure you want, then the owner can try to get it for you. Gift wrap unfortunately not available. All in all the best place to play MTG in southern Illinois. 12/10 would visit again TL;DR: Best nerd and geek store to go to hands down.

Positive: Great selection of comics and other items. Bathroom in building. Variety of games played in store. Great location. Good sense of community. Negitive: Cannot use your store credit to enter MTG tournaments. Lacking some perfessionalism. Later hours would be nice.
