A horrible increase in prices and decrease in selection and customer service in the past few months. If I could give this place a zero star, I would. Ive been shopping and donating to this location ever since it opened. Staff used to be friendly and helpful, the selection and the prices were great, and I would buy clothes for my whole family there. I dont know what happened but all of a sudden prices jumped almost twice, any rag with holes and pulls in it is priced at $10 or more as long as it says Banana Republic or Ann Taylor on it. Seriously??? You can buy these brands new at their stores for a few bucks more. They explained it by having a new pricer but the staff working there told me they just got a raise. It is by far the most expensive Goodwill in the Chicago area, even downtown store is cheaper. And now on to the customer service. Since I buy quite a bit I dont always try things on and some of them have to go back. A few weeks ago I came to return a couple of items. I live close by and I walked to the store. A new African-American manager, Ive never seen before, that seemed to be on a power trip demanded my ID for the return, said its their policy. Never heard of this policy, never been asked for an ID before. I didnt have it on me and she processed questioning me if anyone else can verify my identity??? And started questioning me how I got there, implying I was lying to her. This was completely out of line. This is an affluent neighborhood and Ive never been treated like this, especially not at a second hand store where Ive made hundreds of dollars in purchases and more in donations. I like the idea of recycling, thats why resale stores appeal to me. But I refuse to be treated this way! I really hope corporate takes a look into this.

A few days ago / 06.27 .16 , 2.00pm/ I went shopping at the store, at the moment Im serious operation both knees and I have big problems with walking as well as standing up. I turned for help to Mrs. menager someone to help me pull my wheelchair with my car, the lady manager she refused, when l upset and did not believe what I heard and began to speak louder, she went for help and came in next a boss / junge Spanish man/and said, it could not help me. Therefore, I stretched out my hand to help me get up from a low chair, because I myself could not also hi denied me. In the end, helped me to get up from a chair policeman who had been called to the naughty .Never more clients no longer go to the store management staff is very rude and not customer-friendly.

This Goodwill location has really good stuff. Nice selection of housewares, furniture, clothes and more. Prices used to be fantastic, got a little pricey last year and now seem more reasonable again. Maybe different management. Customer service is very good from helpful staff. Sometimes long register lines so they could improve that but otherwise enjoyable experience. Organized constantly.

They hired bunch of kids and are so rude. They sell electronic products without charging cables so you dont really know if the product works or not by the time you order the cable youre ten days time limit is gone and it the dont accept to return it. Their price is so high button line

This is a great store to shop. Its clean and organized. There are bathrooms and dressing rooms and the merchandise is pretty good. I was able to score a vintage Coach bag, a Balmain wallet, 2 sets of bangle bracelets, and a toy for my child for $18. I will definitely be back.

I have been shopping here regularly for a long time. The prices have been been steadily increasing, and whoever does the pricing needs a reality check. There is no rhyme or reason...$8 for a shirt from Old Navy? Goodwill gettin greedy.

You have to wait a long time most of the time because they never seem to have enough people working the registers but other than that I have found some great discoveries here over the last year.

I am a reseller so I frequent goodwills in the area. This is one of my favorite locations. You can find a lot of Banana Republic and Ann Taylor. I always leave with a bag full of items.
