I have been dealing with Phillips Chevrolet for over 15 years now. This was the first time I worked with the Lansing, IL location. Our experience was again a very satisfying one. The Phillips team is always great to deal with. They know their product, have a good selection of the vehicles in stock - set up the way we like them. Theyre honest and fair, always ready to help out in the selection process, and best of all - you get the best price out there. We purchased 3 pick up trucks. Chevy had a program that offered accessory upgrades for free. Our salesman, Mark Peterson, had us work with Henry King on finalizing those upgrades. In no time we had it worked out. We were able to get all 3 trucks fitted out in a matter of a couple hours. The service guys got right to work and were courteous but even better they were helpful with suggestions on how best to use the products. We got side steps, bed liners and tailgate locks, and a couple of console adapters. ALL FREE including the installation. Owner/Manager Mike Maheras runs a great dealership. Weve been dealing with him and his staffs for a long time. Basically, Phillips is where we go for vehicles. We have compared pricing sometimes, and Phillips beats the competition, period. As for quality, Chevy has it hands down.over the other makes out there. In 15 years now weve purchased over 12 vehicles, including some personal ones. All but two Chevy, and all but 3 new. Even on the used "other make" purchase of a pick up, Phillips has stood behind every one of those purchases. Even on one that was under Nissan warranty and Nissan wouldnt stand behind their warranty, PHILLIPS DID. Thats why, in the end, we work with Phillips. Great people, honest people and fair pricing with service better than others.

Vince was fantastic! I brought my 2014 Chevy Impala in for some warranty work. I was a bit disappointed about 2 things: 1. I live in Indiana and Phillips (Frankfort) drilled into my bumper to install a front license plate bracket which are not required in Indiana. 2. In less than 4,000 miles on the car, the drivers side rear quarter glass plastic/chrome trim came off. Not sure how or where but happened sometime during our awful winter. I live much closer to the Lansing store so I dropped my car off asking if the trim could be replaced and if the bumper could be filled in once the front license plate bracket was removed. Vince saw to it that both of these things were done and had them claimed under warranty. The glass has to be completely removed and installed as a new unit. The body shop that was to perform the patchwork was 4-5 days out. Vince suggested to the dealership that they swap bumpers off of a new car in the lot so I could have my car in time for the weekend. Vince impressed me on several levels. For starters, this was warranty work and he didnt have a chance to upsell me on anything but still treated my concerns as a number one priority. What really impressed me was his constant communication, I am a "car guy." I cant tell you how many dealerships/shops have serviced my cars and I had to constantly call them for a status on my repair. Vince made sure he called me everyday with an update. This wasnt annoying, this was professional. I even called the service manager Dennis to commend Vince on his job well done. I also agreed to write this review on his behalf. My review is three fold. Sales- Awesome experience! I hate feeling pressured, I am a look things up-wait-wait- then buy kind of girl. It took 4 months before I actually purchased a vehicle from Phillips Chevy, and each time I walked into the dealership, my salesman answered all of my questions, allowed me to test drive, and research to my hearts content. I truly appreciated the no hassle approach- I eventually bought my car and I am more than pleased with the experience...Thank you!!! Service- I have had multiple experiences with Service from oil changes to simple repairs with all of my Chevy vehicles. I am so very grateful for the professional team of advisers and service mechanics that I have encountered. The service work done is accurate, timely, and efficient. I honestly would not take my vehicle anywhere else. KATHY CULLICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are professional , friendly, helpful, and a woman of your word!!!! She calls me and give me updates about my vehicle, she works behind the scenes to assure the work is being done. Shes very personable and gets the job done!!!!!!!!!!! You are amazing and I hope Phillips Chevy realize the true asset you are to their company. Management- I appreciated all of the follow up calls after purchasing my vehicle. Took my car in to have its FIRST service and the service guy Cutis Japp was great but notice when I got home I left an item in my car and went back and my device was gone. Spoke with Service guy and he said he will look into it and havent heard a word in 4 days. Call back and spoke to sale manager vince and he said he will get back to me to find out when and who took from my car when it was being service, still no response. In 2010 I inquired about a car on internet and I never got a response, 6 years later few days ago I inquire about a car on internet again still never get a response, I guess internet sales doesnt exist!. If I call they want me to come to the dealer. Only reason I want to inquire about sale on internet because I have a newborn at home and plus I dont want to waste either of our times sitting around. I really wanted to like this place because I hear good things they just dont follow through. My dad bought his cruze elsewhere and I told him in past go to phillips, well he brung his car in to phillips for its first oil change and was told he need a appointment. He ended up going to Christenson Chevrolet where they did his oil change and said he never need appointment for that. :(

Ive purchased cars in the past and it has not been a great experience. Walking in to Phillips Chevy and being greeted immediately by Eric Pickett was excellent. Eric was friendly, honest and I did not feel pressured at ALL to purchase anything. He worked with me and really helped me get what I was looking for. I did not want to buy another used car. I wanted a brand new car, which was something that I never had before. Eric was able to get me the car payment that I was looking for and the type of vehicle I wanted as well. My mother and sister were there to support me and act as my "back up" if I needed them. Eric was so friendly, gracious and funny with all of us that I finally understand what it means to have a great car buying experience!!! I walked out of Phillips Chevrolet with a 2015 Chevy Equinox. The color is called blue velvet, but I have renamed it my "Blue Baby". I love driving it back to Cincinnati and my family is VERY happy with my purchase. I literally told everyone I knew that they should come see Eric Pickett and the rest of the Phillips Chevrolet family for their next car purchase. Thanks to everyone there and keep up the GREAT WORK Eric!
