Its a safe place for parents and their children because its a perfect size to remember every store location. Most people dont remember the mall very well so there are maps around the mall that could help you get their. If your kids get lost security would take care of them until they find you and they would ask them as many questions they can to find you or contact you. Most of the parents teach their kids where to go when they get lost and most of the kids go to security which is near the movies. Also some kids go to the big tree in the mall because there parents thought them. The mall has good food and good stores that have good deals mostly every day which I like because Im not a fan of big prices.

Its really one of the smallest malls I ever been to. They have some good stores but only the basic ones. The kids play area is not cool at all I swear theres hardly anything for the kids to do in there. Nice for babies, but my toddler was bored w it in 10 minutes. They need to update this mall and definitely add a better play area n more things to do around here for kids. Every other mall has these neat toddler play places located in or around the mall. Joliet does not have any kind of toddler entertainment at all. Oh yea the mall is OK just basic n needs updating bad!!!

Theyve done a lot to clean up this mall recently, from remodeling some of the sitting areas to providing community activities. Still wish that there were less cell phone/shoe stores, but that cant be helped with the area. Biggest issue is that whenever the mall closes on a Friday/Saturday night, all of the kids waiting for rides gather outside the movie theater and have been known to start fights and be obnoxious. But its a mall annoying mall rats are to be expected and they are easy to avoid as long as you arent there after close!

Nice mall with pretty good selection of stores. Nice Food Court with clean bathrooms and a family bathroom for those with little kids. Love the movie theatre here (clean and nice staff). Parking is pretty easy if you dont enter in the common areas like the theatre. Favorite Stores are Macys, JC Penney, Sears, Carson Pierre Scott. Good selection of restaurants with Panera, TGI Fridays on the inside. Red Lobster, and Texas Roadhouse on the outside.

Seems to be recently renovated, clean mall. We are new to the area and have only been a couple times so were still trying to figure our way around, its layout is kind of maze-like to me. Has a few anchor stores and mall staples like Bath and Body Works and Victorias Secret. Overall Id recommend if youre just popping in to do some regular shopping, doesnt have very many "unique" stores though.

This mall is ok. Its doesnt seem very big once you get in but I think thats cuz of the movie theater. I usually go to the shoe stores. Its pretty descent as far as visually, buy its like a fortress when trying to use your cell phone. The signal barely gets in that place and you have to use their WiFi which is free of course. You just will have to stand in the hall ways to make calls.

Used to love this mall growing up. Kind of small, though theyve added some stores, but its no Fox Valley or Aurora outlet mall. On weekdays after school there are way too many teens running around like headless chickens with their heads cut off, but security and Joliet police seem to be present. Good for a quick need or last minute compulsive shopping.

The mall can be nice but during the weekends is overbearing with tons of teenagers. Last time I was there the feds had a shoot out with a drug dealer in the parking lot by Tilt a Kilt. They do have a ton of stores and a good food court. Bathrooms were recently updated and are nice family areas also. The theater is the biggest reason that I go there.

Generally, I despise shopping - especially a mall experience - but my young kids had Christmas money they were itching to spend, and all three of them found what they wanted, under one roof, in less than an hour. The mall wasnt overly crowded, and every employee we encountered was courteous and genuinely helpful. We were all happy with the afternoon!

I like the renovations they did to the mall. It looks great with all the updates. Lots of places to visit. The only thing I would recommend is that they advertise their small vendors/kiosks on their store list. We were looking for a Cinnabon and it never came up on Google search. Yet there still is a Cinnabon kiosk location at this mall.

Was on field trip w/my sons 8th grade field trip. We stopped from Chicago at the mall for the food court. Staff at the food places were efficient in serving all of us (we had 3 charter busloads). We didnt get to explore within the mall because there was not enough time. The mall seemed clean inside & out from what I could see.

LJM isnt a crazy busy as many malls - so its a much more relaxing place to shop. It is also one of the few malls with all the places I like to shop. It anchored by Carsons, Macys, JC Pennys and Sears. The food court is fairly standard. The movie theater offers current shows at very reasonable prices.

The last time this place was worth visiting is when they had a Marshall Fields. If I had a credit card, I would never shop at this mall again. It just so happens that I do. However, I digress. Theyre more of a food court and movie theater than they are an actual mall. So for those two things; one star.

Worst mall in the area. They have reduced the only coffee shop (a staple in all malls) down to merely a kiosk. They took away their smoothie shops. All they have is shoe stores, jewelry stores, and cookie cutter stores that have all the same junk. Im truly never coming to this mall again.

Variety of stores is way down from previous years. I find malls are about the extras. Those stores pay THOUSANDS a month for rent, how about decorating and having some entertainment once and a while. If youre looking for quality shopping go to fox valley where they like their customers.

Not as many options as most shoppers would hope for, but if you dont feel like driving out to Orland Mall or Bolingbrook Promenade, this is a pretty solid spot. They also have pretty good food options inside the mall, and a movie theater, so thats an added benefit.

Need to stop allowing petstore(Furry Babies) to sell puppies from ILLEGAL breeders with USDA Violations! PUPPYMILLS! This support of animal abuse makes me avoid this mall at all costs. Animal abuse like this should be illegal and not even allowed in the mall.

Not as busy as Fox Valley but all the same stores and they tend to have stuff in my size, like they dont run out as fast. Movie theater smells funny though, not sure but if you have ever been to a state fair, theres a faint hint of that smell. Weird
