I was at the Walmart store in homewood Illinois store number 05404 and I seen a childs trampoline that was marked as 2.88 and I asked an employee about it and they said it was a mistake it was priced wrong, I asked to speak to a manager I was informed that he wasnt in the store that he had went to the gas station, I told them I would wait, I ended up waiting for 30 minutes for the manager to come he came around 10:45 he was a black African American bald head man Im describing him because when I asked him his name he refused to tell me I later found out he was the store manager so I asked about the trampoline that was priced for 2.88 and when asked about it he had a very condescending attitude and was rude I asked him questions about the trampoline and the stores policy which he never clearly explained instead he walked away when I was still talkig saying you couldnt have possibly thought we were selling that for that price in a very rude tone, so I asked the female shift manager what his name was she said she wasnt allowed to give me that information and he didnt have a name tag.. and he said they dont even sale the item but the first employee had already looked it up and they do, me and my family has been customers of Walmart for many years and have never experienced such bad customer service and plain disrespect, I cant believe I was treated that way its very unexcepatble, what type of example is he setting for his employees under him, that its ok to disrespect customers and treat them any type of way, and Im sure if he treated me with such blatant disrespect Im not the first customer he treated this way!!!!!! Im disgusted with the company right now, I cant believe that these are the type of people you guys have representing your brand!!!!

I was excited to find that they moved to a bigger location...the old Walmart was always low on inventory which I never understood. This location is always dirty and unorganized. Although, they seem to have a sufficient amount of stock, there are always boxes blocking the ailes, no matter what time it is. The parking lot always has a lot of trash and I always have to throw away trash thats left in the shopping carts. NOT GOOD. The lines are always long and there is no security in the parking lot, which isnt well lit. I did some late night shopping and security personnel were standing around talking in the inside of the store. I felt like I could have been mugged while walking to my car. Im hoping to see some improvements in the near future. We can all do our part as a community to help keep this location clean and we can start by not littering...Cmon people, we can do better than this!!!

Telephone ringing for more than 2 minutes (far to long). Someone answers non-professional manner; I ask for toy department, and left holding for 6 minutes, hang-up and call back, ask for toys again, another 5 minutes pass, no answer, no follow-up. SOLUTION: Contact Corporate Office and request to speak with a Regional Manager for that store. Explain situation and dissatisfaction with staff/employees, report how unprofessional and unknowledgeable the walmart staff is and their non-attempt to assist customers; especially how defiant they are when being paged. My ? to the Regional Manager, is how did these people get hired and whether or not they us "Personal Shoppers" to critique their store. Wal-Mart Glenwood, Country Club Hills and 83rd & Stewart/Chicago are in Dyer need of having their stores "Personal Shopped".

I love this Walmart over the Walmart on 167th. The employees are more pleasant to deal with. My last experience was horrible, but I came back because it was closer and honestly this time around was definitely night and day. We went for school supplies and some other household items, I ended up spending three hours in the store not because I couldnt find anything just mainly shopping slow and smart. In any instance, my shopping experience was totally different than before. I truly wish that this will be turned into a 24 hour store... A.S.A.P!!! The only negative is that this particular store has some pricing issues. Products are shown to be one price and when you get to the register its higher. If youre not paying attention you end up paying more.

I hate it this Walmart because some of the employees are very rude when asking an employee of question she seem to have a huge attitude and then going to the checkout counter the cashier once again has an attitude I dont know why they hired these people because they do not know how to act and they have no customer service skills needless to say I would never visit there again the only one good thing was the greeter at the door he was the most professional of all the people there and the friendliest and most helpful so you would think instead of having him on the door they would have him doing something else because they really need to overhaul their employees or at least send them to a class which teaches them how to be decent human beings

After putting a Layaway in I noticed the young girl starting another layaway. I had to inform her that my items need to be boxed first before you get items mixed up. I had to call a manager over to show her how to finish out a layaway. They blamed her of course, but i informed them to teach the young adults better. A month later i came to pick up my layaway and they lost most of it! I new it was going to happen because of them being unorganized. Some items were no longer in stock. Every time i call its hard to get someone on the phone. I gave them 3 stars because i can get in and out but if you need assistance you wont get it!

Terrible customer service. One girl in electronics didnt want to answer questions about the laptop I was interested in. When i went to purchase it she actually gave me the wrong one- rung it up and everything. I said is that the red one I picked out? She didnt apologize or anything. She would have known what i was talking about if she had moved away from the counter and assisted me instead of running her mouth.If I had driven home and opened that box just to find something else.. I seriously would have lost it!!

I have no idea what all of you people are complaining about, i go to that Walmart often and they give me good service, is it probably a problem with the way you ask for service? Because I have seen customers mistreat employees there and act very unreasonable. May be more patience and politeness might get you the service I get. And Im sure this is not the only place you complain about. We got to remember they are people like us and not servants that have to obey our every whim. So far, I am satisfied.

Flat out bad customer service at this particular Walmart. Girl at customer service smacked her lips and rolled her eyes at my question about cashing a payroll check because she hadnt heard of the company I work for and when I asked for the manager she comes over and gives me the same bad attitude. I have been shopping here for several years but I will never spend another dime at this store. This store is also full of lazy people who avoid the customers so they dont have to help u.
