A couple months ago I bought a cake pop electric baking pan. Opened it up, it was used & without directions. I tried to exchange it without a receipt and the manager did not believe that I purchased it there. I dont hang onto receipts for items I have no intentions on returning and could easily have returned it to a discount store but I bought it at Michaels in Hillside where I have not only attended classes have spent a lot of money framing pictures and various crafts. This item with a 40% off coupon probably cost me around $17, it was the principle. I tried explaining to the manager that if I wanted a used item I would go to a garage sale and not Michaels. I will never shop there again, Hobby Lobby is not much further for me.

The staff is friendly. Theres lots available but the selection is shrinking. Went in to get supplies for a specific wood working project, but unfortunately the stock of supplies I needed was no longer carried. A good place for general crafting, but the more detailed the project, the less chance they have what you need.

I love this store except this jerk cashier who apparently hates coupons and his job just so everyone knows hes bald and has glasses and is thin but around the age of 45-50 so watch out for this guy he has been rude twice now, next time I will call and complain. I hope this helps everyone!!

I love this store I am so excited theres one in Northlake ill.I was able to check out with an electronic coupon.Thats awsome cuz some stores dont accept electronic coupons only paper ones .Thanks to a nice cashier I was able to safe $$$ cant wait to come back for MORE!!!! :)

All the employees were very helpful and courteous! They even helped me find my planner that I lost in the store! Customer service is GREAT!
