Ive been here couple of times to service our fleet vehicles, and usually I walk around while I wait. I am young but thanks God and hard work I make a very good living. Once I was first told that dodge would announced the closing of the viper assembly plant I looked into it and they had discounted the 2014 dodge vipers to roughly $85,000 so I went ahead to talk to them as its the closest dealership to my home. Well sadly enough they didnt want to work with me because I was young and even when I offered over $20k down the said a bank well never finance anybody under 30 for a vehicle like that so there was no point trying. They wouldnt even let me open the car door. I left very angry and never came back. Just recently I went to get the fleet vehicle serviced and I waited around and finally someone asked "hey do you need anything " I told them I am just looking around dont want to waste anyones time as I would only be interested a M/T vehicle, they insisted on an automatic but I said no. What is it that people dont undertand? If I am only interested in a manual why push a sale?? Anyways they said they could find me a SRT8 challenger manual and offer me a competitive price so we went out to check a white one the had on stock but it was automatic, again trying to sell me into one, salesman couldnt tell me the difference between a scat pack and SRT8 and after all said there is a manual but used scat pack on the lot, so I said I got time lets look at it. He said sorry you need to gt approved by a bank first. Are you serious???? I need to get approved first? Never heard that, you could not even open the vehicle so I could see the features. Its a used vehicle first off, second I dont need to be approved first either. I walked in to a chevy dealership and guess what? They handed me down the keys to a new corvette and drove off for a test drive, they were extremly friendly and even beat the apr rate my own bank approved me for and didnt even wanted a down payment plus they gave me an extended warranty. Also never tried to sell me an automatic car either and best of all I walked in waering old jeans and a hoodie. My point is dont judge people based on how the look because you never know. You guys loss a sale and I will be bringing my fleet vehicles to another dealership instead from now own. The best part about this most recent trip is that the Dodge viper I seen there 2 years ago still there. Its been there for 3 years now and no one has bought it because of the poor service you guys have. If I am going to spend $100k on a vehicle I expect great service and nothing less.

Liars and crooks!! I have been going to Gurnee Dodge for my oil change and any vehicle service needs for a couple years now, and never did I think that this would happen. I took my car in for an oil change as I normally would just to come out with a headache. I am used to the long waits but never minded the wait because they did a good job. About an hour after my appt I got called in to the service desk for them to deliver the bad news. The rep started off by apologizing for the wait and how the oil change would be on them (MAJOR RED FLAG) Then he continues to say that are some things wrong with my car...rear brakes/rotors, and then the most IMPORTANT/major part for last! That they found that while changing the oil filter the oil bypass valve had just magically broke off and that I was looking into a $800 job!! He tried blaming the vibration of the engine and the bumps on the road.Which of course with out me having any knowledge as to where this part was even located I had no choice but to just listen to his explanation. I asked if it was possible for it to have broken while removing the oil filter and he said not unless they were banging it with a hammer.(Did I mention they had even checked to see if this was covered under my warranty to try to cover their mess, but since my warranty had just expired they had no choice but to tell me the bad news) I decided to not leave my vehicle and decided to do an intense search on this part and cost. After searching and searching not only were they trying to rip me off with double the money, but they also lied about them not breaking the part. Part is roughly $200 and they wanted to charge $600 for labor?? Everywhere i searched it was $400 max job. I called him back and told him that after researching this I came to the conclusion that it was very well possible that the part was broken while either inserting or removing the filter, I asked if there was anything they could do to either lower the cost because they were responsible for the damage! I mentioned how I was sure that the car parts were made to withstand and engine vibration/road bumps.(imagine how many broken car parts we would have!!) He said that he would talk to his supervisor and get back to me. I have called him multiple times and they never reached back to me not once! So thank you for calling me back!! I will make sure to NEVER take my car here for service again!

They tried to scam me, a certified mechanic. Brought my car in for warranty work. Claimed my radiator was cracked. Yeah, it was cracked but because the tech working on my vehicle broke it intentionally. You can clearly see it was broken intentionally because I didnt wanna pay for the radiator. They forced me into changing it, claiming it would void their work they did for an overheating issue covered under warranty. Service writer called me on a monday, advising me of the repairs, diagnosis of the faulty systems, and that my car would be finished once the parts arrived. Tuesday, a different service write calls and says theyve repaired what was needed to be fixed, however my radiator was cracked and leaking, but was not covered under my warranty. Said writer claims that his tech says it was cracked and leaking. I said, im not going to pay for a service I can fix myself as I am I professional mechanic. Said writer claimed that my bumper was taken off to do the previous repairs. Well since I have access to ALL-data, I checked on the repair procedures and it clearly states nothing along the lines of removing the bumper for repairs which in turn, created some suspicion. I cross referenced with my other repair databases I have access to at my shop and the repair procedures were very similar yet no mentioning of bumper removal. For those mechanically inclined, this particular model vehicle has a radiator that can be removed along with the fan assembly by disconnecting hoses and other electrical plugs. Long story short, I will never bring my vehicle here ever again. I can do the work myself and I inspected it before I dropped it off for warranty. My radiator was not the issue not was it cracked or leaking, it was my radiator fans and shroud that was the issue of overheating. I dropped it off a week before the end of the month and clearly, someone was trying to make their hours for the pay period. Not a happy customer and I DO NOT recommend them for service. THEY WILL TRY TO SCAM YOU!!!! Ps. The 27 point inspection included in my oil change, shouldve also came up with the conclusion that my drive axle boots were torn and I shouldve been advised on a repair. That didnt happen.
