Please tear this and the Dunkin Donuts down and put in something useful. Even though this is the closest convenience type store to my home I avoid it like the plague. First, the store, especially the entryway smells of urine. Who is hanging out and peeing in the entryway and how!?!? The few times Ive gone in the store to find something I cant find at any other local drugstore, the store has appeared barren. Shelves empty or stocked low. When I was able to find something else that would work the item appeared open and tampered with. There always seems to be some sort of riff-raff hanging out here, and living close to the location I often hear of theft, and witnessed it once myself as a perp was being chased around the neighborhood by the police. They ran down my alley and threw stollen merchandise in a garbage can. Of the few times Ive been in this location, the most business I witnessed while waiting in line was for lottery, smokes, and forties. This CVS offers no value to the area and needs to go already.

The store manager, Dorian, who is black, is extremely racist. I worked there until this past Friday. She makes the managers and clerks call for a security walk whenever a "young black man, under 35" walks in. Those were her words! Also, any black person, man or woman with a bag, has to have a floor walk called. She also refuses to let customers use the bathroom, unless they are white, or young children. She says everyone else is too dirty or will try to steel. She degrades the other employees, and told her new managers, none which were black, that this store needed to be changed. By change, she meant no new black people were to be hired in a supervisor position. It is sad, 4 of 4 new people, not one black person. One black guy came in, asked if she was hiring, she said no, them turned around and hired 2 new people. This is an absolute shame.

0 stars if possible - I got there with three minutes to go before closing and the employee wouldnt let me in (I needed to grab one item which wouldve taken about 45 seconds to grab). Hard not to wonder if they wouldve perhaps served me had I been at the location a few blocks over in the more upscale area of Oak Park... I understand its not fun to serve a customer who gets there 3 minutes before closing, but if you actually close at 9:57, then put that as your closing time instead of 10 - or if you must close early, you can at least apologetic to the customer youre refusing to serve during business hours.

This pharmacy messed up my familys prescription on two occasions. Once was a controlled substance for my daughter. I knew the exact time and day I was there. They insisted that I had never dropped it off. The doctor would not rewrite it and my daughter was out of meds. After one and a half weeks, I found that they had video tape of the drive through which clearly showed me dropping off the prescription. That was only one instance. I do not recommend this CVS.

The cashiers seem illiterate and the prices arent great. The only reason I come to this CVS is because its down the street from me and I dont have a car. Its easier to walk here than to anywhere else. If you have a choice of where to go; dont go here. I havent used the pharmacy so I dont know the quality of it. For everything else, it sucks. If you need medicine, I have no idea. Its probably alright.

Went here to fill my prescription and it was done in a timely manner but pharmacist Janet was very rude and impatient. I dont appreciate being treated like crap when I feel like crap. She is bad news.

The employees obviously arent trained enough because they dont know anything about anything especially the managers who want to overcharge when the price is clearly labeled differently.

The pharmacy is good. Otherwise, its not worth shopping here. For anything! Stock low. Expensive. Cant compete with Walgreens 2 blocks away.
