A Private User

I called in a prescription reorder for a client. I did not have her last prescription number. The staff member located her file by dob and said he will fax the doctor for approval and that we should call back. I called back and it was like the twilight zone. First I was told that I had not called. Then I was told that they spoke to every staff member that was in and no one recalled talking to me. I provided intricate details of the conversation. They said no one talk to me. I then called the prescribing doctor office and learned that her file was under her married name. I then called the pharmacist back; provided the married name and then they remembered talking to me. They had even faxed the doctor as promised. The moral to this story is simple: how could you have located the file under the dob and maiden name the first time and then confess that every member on your staff denied ever speaking with us. Although it was rough going... in the end it worked out. Make sure you have your refill number. Special thanks to Mike on the pharmacy staff at this location for his assistance.

The layout is really nice but the shelves are always empty, a young man who was checking me out was really nice and helpful. I hope Walgreens fixes the shelves.
