Just reading over complaints this place takes one look at you and decide they want nothing from you. I call negative racial business practices of Crossroads Trading Co. I entered and wasnt greeted by the sales staff. The store was a mess, associates were acting in a very unprofessional way to customers and anyone in hearing distance. I saw mainly (Courtney) and a heavy set longhaired blonde...I believe her name is (Nicole) talking down to (African-American) customers and treating them like they are wasting there time. There are several customers lining up to sell while they gossiped. But I (Latin-American) Northwestern University affiliate waited, and waited, and waited, without any one even looking towards my direction or asking what I needed. In my opinion, the only thing that should be taken into consideration when purchasing clothes from a seller is the value/worth of the clothes themselves. I am no longer shopping there and suggesting to my friends that they avoid this particular store location! I have spoken with several people from our university about my experience at that particular store and they have all agreed that it was not a pleasant experience! I dont know if it is due to lack of management skills on the owners part or just plain stupidity, but something needs to change before that store ruins the reputation for other Crossroads Trading Co. locations.

Selling clothes is always one of my least favorite experiences because almost everywhere I go the associates at consignment stores are cold and unwelcoming. If Im going to provide you with business and even BUY your clothes, treat your customers better. That is no different at this store. I brought in a bag of clothes recently and the woman at the desk told me I could not leave the store without taking my clothes with me. It was a busy day and she said she gets "overwhelmed" by all the clothes around her, BUT she still took my clothes anyway when I decided to stay. Im very annoyed that I had to ditch mt errands for absolutely no reason, and I will not be buying clothes from this business any longer.

Awesome selection of clothing for men and women! Update : 19/1/16 I cant wait till the #INNAGRATION of.... mommy...help ! Yeah wants you think That think taking your clothes you dont use any more... Honest to the Bible AMEN... BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO CHECK OUT.. very underrated at times.... It is the old McCarthy or Communists times.. More is HOPE CHANGE LIBERAL mind... So they help here.. I was very disappointed with my visit. This was my first time here and I brought good quality clothing with tags and in season. To wait for an hour and get nothing in return was a complete waste of time. Half the clothes there are out of style and janky. Costumer NOT satisfied.

Pretty good place to shop for trendy, brand-name clothing for an affordable price (they also have a mens section!), but dont expect them to buy any of your clothing. Theyre notorious for rejecting clothes, so I dont even bother anymore, lol.

Small, though interesting and usually high-quality selection. Good if you arent looking for anything specific. High prices for a thrift store. Owners seem to have huge sense of entitlement, however.

Overpriced, crowded, with no room to move whatsoever if there are more than 10 people in the store. I dont appreciate the return policy or the "cost of living" tax that they add on.

This thrift store only carries items in great condition & always has enough staff to help customers. Its not the lowest prices Ive seen but for the sake of being green, I love it!

My girlfriend loves this place and always finds a few decently priced items to pick up. You can also sell them your clothes for cash or store credit.

By far the best high end thrift store I have ever been too. All clothes have only been gently used. You cant beat the prices.
