I recently ordered a book from Chicago Rare online. The next day I recieved an email confirmation showing my billing and shipping information. I was very happy with the book and the price. A week later, on a day that I was hoping the book would have arrived, I recieved an email stating that I book I had ordered was not available and must have been sold. I dont know why it took so long for them to tell me that they didnt have the book. It was a rare book at a great price, and now I cannot find another one for sale anywhere at any price. I dont know if they are extremly unorganized, lazy, or just decided that they could get more money for the book from someone else. I would not do internet business with them!!

I recently sold a book through Chicago Rare Book Center. It was a truly wonderful experience. The staff is unbelievably knowledgeable not only of their books, but of their customers as well. They truly have that special touch that you just cant find anymore. I will definitely be going back!

Chicago Rare Books Center is a fantastic rare book store staffed by knowledgeable book dealers who will always give you a fair price. I have purchased books from them for over 12 years and would always rely on them for advice and suggestions. Many wonderful treasures to be found here!
