Who goes on Google to crab about Walmart? Its freaking WALMART PEOPLE!! get a grip...... Somehow weve come to accept the unacceptable. Its not okay to complain about poor service - were supposed to accept it and not complain? We want low prices so we frequent the made in China/India/Taiwan, etc. vendor. I wonder how successful the families of the Chinese, Indian and Tawainese factory workers are now, in the positions. Are they being promoted, pay increases due to the volume of sales WalMart enjoys? I stopped shopping at WalMart for many reasons. Business based on profit alone disgusts me. However, my own behavior is also at fault. At WalMart, you dont "get what you pay for". Check your purchases. You get what they feel like giving you. Powerful corporations are giving consumers less and less. Pay attention. Decide where you want to spend your money and what you want in return. Do you really need that cart full of poor quality stuff? How much do we really need? We feed into this and then complain. We are part of the problem - not just WalMart.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. Look i never write reviews but i had to this time. They hire just anybody to work here.The worst part is i am having a baby on monday and we picked out a certain graco style and they were the only walmart to hold the car seat i need so i called and ask to put it on hold because i dont get off work for one more hour they said no they dont put things on hold. Then i call back when i get off to see if its still available and they tell me that yes they have it but its on hold for someone else!!!!!! i was so mad and now i dont know what im going to do about getting my baby a car seat i have only 4 days till shes coming :( sooo mad i hate elgin and i hate this walmart for ever!!!!!!!!

Completely terrible customer service unfortunately managers do not know how to count I bought 15 bottles they charge me for sixteen and it was a manager I went to customer service and that same manager came and kept on saying it was 16 bottles which it wasnt it was 15 and the store manager has a very bad attitude and does not know how to address problems unfortunately this is the type of managers that we have in the stores now a days at least for the store its terrible customer service and unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened there has been some other times that Ive gone there and similar things have happened I wouldnt recommend the store at all

The prices on some things may be lower, but this has to be the slowest store to pay for your items. I am in line right now. Two registers are open and the cashiers move at a snails pace. I attempted self checkout(which I prefer) but(as usual ) every time I scan something, I get a message telling me to wait for assistance. Which is a joke here. Some employees are friendly, but more often than not, the ones that I usually encounter act like you are bothering or annoying them when their assistance is required. Its much quicker to drive to another store further away than it is to come in here to shop. And I am stilllll waiting in line. ;)

Terrible terrible customer service went in there to exchange a router we bought. Told by 2 different employees it wasnt sold there and call us liars. Saying we must of bought it from somewhere else. My husband stood his ground even the manager didnt want to help us at first. So we walked back there and sure enough it was sitting on there shelves being sold..hmmm after we clearly told him it was bought there at the location. No apologies no nothing. Did get it exchanged but I will never shop here again Very rude Indian customer service rep and then her other co-worker chimed in calling my husband a liar. If I could give it no stars I would.

The associate I spoke to sold me an empty propane tank he claimed was full with my first gas grill this past winter. When I finally went to use the grill the other day and eventually figured out that the tank was empty, I called the store. After waiting on hold long enough to be routed back to the front desk four times, they said they would replace it when I brought it in. After they confirmed with Lawn and Garden that they had more full tanks in stock, I headed to the store. Sure enough, when I got there they had no more full tanks in stock. This place needs to actually train their employees in both product knowledge and customer service.

1st time at this store . Everything, including the restroom was extremely clean and organized. The restroom was very updated. The Isles are wide enough for two shopping carts to pass through and they are clearly marked up above so you can see where youre going and find what you need. The prices are quite low and sometimes including lower than Aldis. I did not wait long at the checkout and the cashier was polite and friendly. Handicap parking is close to the grocery entrance and I do not know if there is one at the other end. They do have motorized scooters for handicapped as well.

I feel the same way. I think they took the staff from another store and they are uninterested and brass. Also they cant not get their own policy right. I understand that there are rules for the price matching, but just tell me the rules and Ill follow them, but every time I go they change the rules. And the checkers are not happy if you have price matching items. Your treated like a freak. Walmart management needs to step up and set the tone for the new store. The customer should be their number one concern.

Well I was sitting on my wheelchair between the milk and yogurt section, for about 30-40 minutes. I saw at least 8 different employees that passed right in front of me. They all seemed to be working but one was near for most of the time I was there. Two others were moving back and forth getting product from the back. I only saw the others once or twice. You would think that a disabled person might need a hand if they were sitting in the same place for a long time. Just saying!!!

Wanted to have a key made, looked for an associate & couldnt find one on the area I was located. Found an associate & he told me he couldnt help me because he was on lunch. He could have offered to find someone to help me! Then another associate in electronics called for someone twice and no one came to help. Finally the manager walks by & asked have I been helped. After 20 min, I left. I will shop at my regular Walmart!

Not a big fan of this store. Seems like they are always clogging aisles with pallets that make it difficult to get around. Selection of some products in grocery section pretty limited. On some visits the store is in disarray. Prefer to shop at Batavia, though its further from our home. On the plus side, rest rooms are usually clean, and people, though sometimes hard to find, are helpful.

Terrible trying to get information via phone. When Im at the store, and I can find an employee, they are helpful. The store does usually have what Im looking for no matter what department Im shopping in. Im weary of their eye care because of a past visit where the doctor didnt accept insurance and I didnt know about it until afterwards (that was at the West Chicago location.)
