IMO Do not buy lighters from this place. I bought a $25+ Vector torch lighter and after refilling the lighter, it only worked half of the time. I called the store the same day and the i was told to adjust the flame which i did. I tried again and i had to flick it about 8 or 10 times before it worked. I asked if i could get a refund or exchange it for one that work and she told me she couldnt and my only option was to call Vector company and have them fix the lighter Secrets sold me,a defective lighter. This means paying for S/H and repair on top of the the price of the lighter. So keep in mind the lighters Secrets sell might not work and they will just wash their hands and youll have to pay extra to send it to be repair, what a rip off. Also there was a guy sitting on the floor and one guy high as hell who "stand" by the door. I came there to spend money not to steal. It made me felt not welcomed. My 7-11 lighter works every single time vs Secrets Vector lighter. I will never return and will let my friends know. Edit: the vector lighter stopped working.

Ive been to this shop several times over the years; I was just there yesterday and also earlier this month. Ive had no issue with service, no issues with employees, ever. The three employees Ive dealt with recently were friendly and as knowlegable as youd expect considering they sell a wide variety of products; pipes and water bongs of all styles, sizes, and colors, hookahs, vaporizers, e-juice, stash containers, and other accessories. Of course you could probably get cheaper prices online, but if you have a question, employees of Secrets are eager to help.

If you are in need of Tobacco Accessories/Pipes in Chicago, let me save you some time. This is your one stop shop. I have been here a couple of times and all of the employees were super helpful, especially Steve but not intrusive. The have ever thing from big companies to local artists, and from every price range. Every time I have visited I feel like they do their best to make sure I leave happy. Exceeds the expectations of a normal tobacco shop and I am glad I live so close. I cannot wait to check out the new, gigantic glass gallery in Wicker Park!!

As a first timer, its always a challenge to get folks to be patient and helpful. They were helpful and patient insofar as they can be with a couple hours until closing. Overall they were good but I assumed from the other reviews that they would take the time to be informative while making the sale, not just letting me decide and giving input when I push for it. I would come again but I will also look at other places too. One plus is they gave me a lighter and gave me a good deal.

Dont let this place fool you- they mark up every piece they have and automatically give you 20% off to make you think you are getting a deal. All of the employees take turns smoking weed in the bathroom and each employee has a fake name that they go by in case they were to ever get busted. One employee who goes by Grant, real name Randall, is always blitzed out of his mind... Its a wonder this place is still running with people like him behind the counter!

Purchased a poor quality vape pen and the top came right off and ripped the internal wiring. I was not given a receipt at purchase and then was accused of not having a receipt when coming back with the faulty product. The staff and the owner stated that without a receipt they were unable of offering me an exchange. These are poor customer relation practices. Lesson learned always ask for a receipt even if not offered/given.

worst tobacco shop that i ever been in to. The customer service is worst of all. I have talked with a some guy who works there and he never listens my word and talk him self and he said to be thank you we appreciate, what the hack is that and when i talked to him second time with mad voice he says the same thing. worst customer service ever. dont go to this store. you will regret it.

I am not a regular customer at head shops, and I was a little intimidated to enter Secrets at first, but I am glad I did. As everyone reports, the staff was awesome / helpful / cool. I cant comment on the selection, etc., but I would definitely go back if I were looking again for the type of products sold there -- its convenient to the Red/Brown lines, open late, and very chill.

Chi town forever been going there for 10 plus years u ever want the best quality "tobacco pipes" ;-) theyre the place you need to go... and the bad reviews that I read on here those people are just ignorant and seem like the type of people that get off on posting bad reviews

Charged me $35 for a garbage vape pen and then $10 for low quality juice. I was brand new so I didnt know what I was missing til someone told me. Got a replacement pen that is much higher quality for $20, and better quality juice for that same $10 and now Im in a much better place. Seriously, this place sucks.

First off, If anybody is making their way on up to Belmount and Clark, make sure you bring $$$$$$......Secrets somehow ranks # 1 on the block over here, and the "Secret" is that its Expensive....Your best bet nowadays is to talk down the arabs down the block, what is the world coming to?

This is the best shop in the world, hands down the best glass selection. They also have a very informative staff and the best prices on Lucky Kratom in Chicago. I love the stok vaporizer that I got also.....

Secrets has all you could ever need and a very knowledgeable staff. They do offer a discount and you can sometimes negotiate with them too. Located close to Clark St bus & Belmont L station.
