Rob is the fourth artist Ive been to & hands down the best. Ive admired his work for about 7 years and his style has developed in leaps and bounds since then while maintaining his immediately recognizable flair. The shop just got a new window sign which it sorely needed. I drove & walked right past the shop on my first visit. It shouldnt be a problem for new clients now. I appreciate the cleanliness of the shop & his technique for set up. Hell leave you with a print-out for first timers that walks you through the stages of tattoo healing. He offered proper soap & tattoo aftercare which outrageously I had not received from previous shops. Hes super chill & answers questions in person & any time you need to phone in. He has his bases covered. Rob was collaborative during the first color session and discussed with me what he & I had in mind & we came to an agreement. Even if you give him free creative reign, you will not be disappointed. He checked in throughout the session, takes breaks as needed, & always has an excellent playlist on. My only complaint is the wait time between available appointments which ranges between 1-3 months. Its a testament to his quality of work & high demand, so call ahead & get in while you can. Rob was recommended to me by a friend that has already gotten 4 from him, and I am glad I took him up on his recommendation. I got my first tattoo done, on my calf, last night and will be back for more. Rob first went through the drawing making sure it was exactly what I wanted, making extra effort to ask if the parts that deviated from my design were ok. He explained all the aftercare before starting and gave me a care sheet to take with in case I forgot anything. After placing the template on my leg he asked me to look at it in the mirror to make sure the placement was ok. Rob went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable, asking if i needed breaks (because I didnt ask for any), offering me water, and warning me before he inked the back of my knee. (Sensitive spots for the win!) In the end the tattoo exceeded my expectations including more fine detail than I imagined he would be able to do. It is very obvious that Rob values customer satisfaction above all else.

Carolina is a supreme bad ass, and helped me have the best tattoo experience in my life! The finished product blew all of my expectations out of the water, and I could not have pictured the tattoo coming out any better. Carolina was really helpful when helping me design my tattoo, and I could tell she took a lot of pride in her work. Plus, she was just outright awesome to work with and her enthusiasm made the experience that much more fun. What she does best is helping me realize my tattoo design and creating something that I really liked and wanted. I would recommend this shop, especially Carolina, to anyone, any day, or any week. Everyone at the shop was helpful and pretty easy going during my time there. I dont normally write reviews, but everyone needs to know how awesome Carolina and her work are! She seriously just blew my expectations!

I chose Rob to do my first tattoo after seeing his portfolio online. When I went for my consult, the shop was clean and he was very welcoming and willing to answer all of my questions. He took my tattoo idea, kept all the important parts, but then made it better than I had envisioned it. He always asked for my feedback at every step and made sure I approved of the design, colors, size, etc. He also verified my price range and gave me an accurate estimate. He made the actual tattoo experience as comfortable as possible too. He was friendly and encouraged me to stay comfortable and relaxed and take breaks if I needed them. Most importantly, the end tattoo looks phenomenal, the lines, shading, and everything. It was an excellent choice for a first tattoo experience, and I couldnt recommend it more.

Ive been going to Rob Goodkind for the last seven years, he is the third artist Ive personally been worked on by and Ive been to countless shops with friends. I have to say as long as Rob is in the business I will not go to any other artist for original work. His creativity is unparalleled and his art is amazing. I give him an idea and he comes back with something so much greater than I could have hoped for. The shop is clean and the staff friendly and professional. I regularly run out of his business cards to hand out as people are always asking me where I get my work done. Bottom line, go to Goodkind tattoo. You will be happy you did.

I got my tattoo done with Rob Goodkind, the owner. Though I was initially hesitant, being my first tattoo (a rather large piece over my ribs), Rob was awesome throughout the entire session and allowed breaks whenever I needed. The shop itself is extremely clean and the prices are great considering how detailed the artists work is. Will definitely come back again for my next piece once my current tattoo is finished. Make sure to book your appointment a month or two in advance, as all of the artists there are extremely busy. All around great tattoo shop full of talent.

Goodkind Tattoo is the best all around tattoo experience I have ever had. Rob is a great artist and very professional. He is willing to work with your ideas and apply his personal style for the best results. The shop is clean and all the employees are friendly and welcoming. Sometimes tattoo shops can be intimidating, but this one is not. Rob did a Koi on my calf and is halfway through a partial arm sleeve and I could not be happier with them both. People often stop and tell me how cool my koi tattoo on my calf looks. I highly recommend this tattoo shop

Let me tell you about Rob Goodkind and his shop. This place is the bees knees! His artwork would make Van Gogh shed a tear and Ed Hardy rethink his clothing line. His coloring is so intense you need shades to look at the tattoo afterwards! Hell, he makes colors appear that dont even exist yet. His style is HIS style, theres nothing else out there like it. If you are unsure about going to this place dont make the mistake of passing up the privilege of walking around with his artwork on you.

Rob does an awesome job not only owning and running this place but is also a very talented artist. He was very professional and FRIENDLY, which in my experience is rare in tattoo shops. He makes you feel welcome and comfortable. The place is unbelievably clean and Rob is a bit of a clean freak but thats a good thing when it comes to tattoos. The amount of sterilizing he does may seem over the top but its a very reassuring feeling. I would recommend anybody getting a tattoo here.
