I have been coming here for many years. The owner Pawel is the best mobile repair technician I have ever met. His work is top notch and his knowledge goes back to before most of us ever owned a cell phone. I have had so many positive experiences with GSM Solutions, but here are a few... 1. I tried to insert a SIM card in an expensive Nokia Lumia phone that I had cut down myself to make fit in the slot. It got stuck, and when I pulled it out I damaged the SIM reader contacts. I took what I thought was an expensive brick to Pawel, hoping he could undo my careless mistake. To my amazement, he disassembled the phone, pulled a few SIM pins off a parts phone, and carefully soldered them onto my damaged board. The phone worked perfectly and read the SIM card without any further problems. Good luck getting that done at the mall. 2. I took in an older Motorola StarTAC to GSM Solutions, hoping to get it unlocked. The phone is a collectable, but it was locked to Pacific Bell, a company that no longer exists. There are no code databases for these phones, and they are very rare. I exhausted all my options online to get a code to unlock the phone, but then remembered Pawel. In two minutes he hooked it up to a computer and unlocked the phone. I was thrilled to be able to use my childhood cell phone again on a modern network! 3. My mom dropped her iPhone in a sink full of water. It was shot. She didnt tell me until the next day, and unfortunately the motherboard and other components were too damaged to be repaired according to Pawel. Luckily she had all her data backed up to iCloud. Pawel sold me a replacement phone for her at a very reasonable price, considering her contract wasnt up yet, and a new device would have been over $700! He walked me though the process of restoring her data from iCloud, and she was back up and running! Its not often I run into such a great business. I am a big fan of this place, and know you will be too. Next time you drop your phone, need an unlock or want to buy/sell a phone, check out this store. A++++++

I highly recommend GSM solutions for all types of cell phone repairs and purchases. For the past 6 or more years GSM Solutions exclusively attended to all my phone needs. The customer experience of each visit keeps me satisfied and coming back. Broken screen, charging problem, malfunctioning buttons and even an incident of water damage and data recovery have all been taken care of in a professional and timely manner. I have also bought a few phones from this store. The most recent purchase I made was a used Samsung Galaxy phone. I have been using it for over 2 years now and it still works as well as it did on the day I bought it. The price was also right. The layout of the store itself makes a good impression. From the very first moment you walk into the store you cant fail to notice multiple parts drawers (probably 100+). All of them are labeled so you can be sure everything has its place. Even though the store is not big, it is very easy to distinguish the work area, parts area, office area and "for sale" display. In my years of dealing with GSM solutions I have never seen random stuff scattered around as is common to see in work shops. Since Paul - the store owner - is also a phone enthusiast, along one of the walls of the store there is a show case full of outdated cellular phones that he collected over the years. It is like little museum. What I seriously value the most about Paul is his honesty in advising. I have seen this more than a couple times while waiting in line. When someone comes to get their phone fixed, depending on the age of the phone and estimated cost of repair, they are advised to exercise their warranty or insurance if there is a chance to save money on the repair. Even though GSM solutions would profit to do the repair they have the customer save money by informing him of other options out there. This level of ethics deserves the highest respect. It is worth mentioning Paul can communicate in English, Polish and Spanish. I would never take my phone somewhere else.

STAY AWAY!!!!!On the day of 11/21/2015 I went to GSM Solution to fix a broken LCD for my brand new iPhone 6. The owner, replaced the screen with a cheap version of the screen( not original IPHONE Screen as I was told). The picture was not clear and all gloomy. I have witnesses and the phone to prove that. I called the store, the next working day to make formal complaint. I was told to come back. When I went back to the owner was not willing to help, was rude, impolite. He said there is nothing he can do about it and he also refused to give me my craked screen back. When I went to the Apple store, I was told that the screen is not original and that there is nothing that they can do about this issue. There were not willing to fix the phone because it had a part that does not belong to Apple. Furthermore, since the phone was has not original iPhone part,my $700 phone is not worth anything. The picture will never be the same, the phone won`t be as fast as it used to be. Very dishonest business. Charge almost as much as the Apple store($109) GSM Solution Inc ($100)for the service, yet they offer extremely cheap parts.They need to inform there costumers that they are NOT using original parts, that the quality of the product looses 90% of it`s value. PLEASE REPORT TO BBB and other social media websites if you had poor experience with them.

This guy is just awesome. I went on vacation and after taking hundreds of pictures I dropped my phone in the ocean and after that it wouldnt power up anymore. I went to the Sprint store, they had the phone for a day and couldnt do anything about it. Someone recommended me to a local repair shop, I was quoted $150 and 3 days, I agreed but at the and they couldnt help either. Someone I work with recommend Paul from GSM Solutions and this guy took the phone apart faster than I could ever brake it, he heated something up, bend the maim board and 15 minutes later I had my pictures back!!! I asked him how much I owe him and Paul asks me if 40 would be okay... I will never go anywhere else, I was told this guy does phone repair for over 6 years.

This is not your typical mom & pop repair shop. This store offers speedy service, with great customer service in mind. The only negative I have about this place is this: after paying cash for a service that didnt really need a receipt, GSM solutions still gave me a receipt, on which they claimed that work was done on one of their phones. I didnt really need to repair my phone, but only did it to keep T-mobile happy, as a preventative measure. Now, the place is quite neat, with lots of phones to choose from. If you are looking to go to Europe any time soon and need your existing T-mobile or AT&T phone to be compatible on their networks, go to GSM. They know what they are doing. PJP
