Just came back from trying to pawn my laptop. I looked online to check how much it was worth to get a general idea of how much cash to expect. On Amazon, I saw my laptop going for between $178-$240 used.... Now I was hoping to get around $100 as a loan no less than about $75 I thought that was reasonable, they would still have a $75 profit if anything went wrong and I couldnt pay the loan back.... When I get there, the lady "checks" Amazon and says that my laptop was going for only $110 "at most" so they can only offer me $22.75 HAHAHAHAHA! I laughed myself all the way back out the door and into my car, which is where I am typing this right now. Now I understand these companies have to make a profit, no biggie.... But blatantly LIE in my face about how much my laptop is worth even though I checked myself on several different sources just to get an even bigger profit doesnt sit well with me. So people, dont use a pawnshop youre better off selling your item yourself and walking away with a lot more money

Just left the 63rd & Westren Ave location where I was about to purchase some Blu Rays for $24.25 with my credit card when they tell me I have to spend a minimum of $25.00 in order to use my card. Mind you my total is $24.25. So I asked them if they were about to lose a $24.25 sell over .75cents? Their reply was "We can get fired if we do it for less. " Now I do have $487.00 in cash on me but I decided to just leave the entire purchase there. Because if I dont wanna spend $25.00 off my card guess what, Im not going to spend it in cash.

Though as a minor (17 years old) i was refused service in a very negative manner. Employees were also socializing and relaxing when the store was actually dirty. Horrible services, would not recommend.

I get most of my DVD movies there. Used but nearly guaranteed to work and theyre less than 5 dollars,usually about 2 bucks!!
