Becks books at both the water tower campus and at loyola have consistently given me poor service throughout my days at loyola university! Recently I order a book, against my better judgement, from becks as it was not available for a good price anywhere else. I should have learned from my previous encounters that they would let me down and sure enough they did. The worst part was they sent me an email to pick the book up yet had cancelled the order. Once at the store they even found a used copy of the book I ordered & had the gaul to try and charge me double for the item. The manager refused to give me her name but didnt hesitate to give me poor service! Not only did i have to then order the book from somewhere else but it ended up arriving late due to Becks terrible service. There are lots of other places to buy books for your loyola classes so use them and avoid the headache of becks!!

Unless you have a book scholarship that pays everything for you, only really dumb people would go to Becks. It is overpriced and Ive found all books I need for half the price or less using amazon/ebay. The service at the store by the HWC campus is consistently crappy, consisting of what I assume are dead-beats who can hold no other job. They are also really an ugly bunch. they should try to hire people that are not so hard to look at.

I have been trying to sell my old text books for almost two months. They are never open and never return my calls. Sadly this is the only college book buy back store near me. There service has greatly declined and I wish there was another more reliable book store near me. They clearly dont care about peoples time and is beyond annoying.

This location is now permanently closed. I just called yesterday and spoke to someone from corporate office and their last day open was this past Friday. This location was never open anyways and the phone just constantly rung.
