I think the manager has to train his staff to provide his customers a good service. I was there to look for a bike for my daughter and I was assigned by the customer service dept a floor customer representative to help me. I kept following him where he goes because I thought he is going to help me find the bicycle. Then after a several minutes of following him, I asked him, if he is going to show me where the bike is. He said not to follow him coz it will take him several minutes. I just thought that maybe if he explained to me what he is gonna do then I understand that I have just to wait - not follow him around. So then I waited in a corner and ten minutes came by and I saw him going around the store, passing me several times and never heard from him any explanation why I needed to wait some more. And so I just left thinking why need to spend my money at this store - there is just no reason. I believe the manager needs to be trained how to train his staff so the store will attract more customers. The staff will do their own thing when they are not trained to how to provide at least a satisfactory customer service. Toys R Us Management - pls do a performance eval on your store manager.

Placed an online order to be picked up at the store. Got an email, saying, [Please wait until you’ve received your Ready for Pickup email before going to the store. The Ready for Pickup email typically arrives within 2 hours. Orders placed near or outside store hours may require additional processing time.] I waited about 4hrs, I didnt get an email. Thought that the order would be ready. I then walked into the store after 5hrs. Checked with the store pickup guy. He says, order is not processed yet. (Whatever it means). I asked where the item is, and the guy showed that to me. I picked up the item and the guy said, if you goto the customer service, you can transfer the online order and pick this up. Went to the customer service desk, they guy at the Customer Service says, cant do anything until the order is processed. You will have to pay this separate if Im picking the unit up. What an in-efficient BS. They lost the business. Went to walmart and picked up the item. Only thing was they incurred my credit card fees for the order that I placed. The unanswered question is "why there is no real competitor for these dopes?".

This store was loaded with a bunch of employees that were really useless. The cashier overpriced my items by over $250 more than it shouldve been. The 2 more cashiers "tried" helping me & the had to ring-up my items 3 times. Then they forgot to give me my gift receipts & told me its my job to go find someone who could help me get the gift receipts. Also almost EVERY item that I was looking at has NO PRICE TAG anywhere. So I had to download a "barcode price scanner" app to find out what the prices were. One employee told me to go wait in a long line (cashier #13) in order to just find out the price on one item. This is the worse Toys R Us that Ive ever been to. I will not be coming back here ever again. PLUS Walmart & Best Buy BOTH had better prices on the items they sell too... my "Barcode Price Scanner" app showed me.

My daughter(8) said she heard toys r us was doing a "santas wish list"...we arrive, and although it was not a "thing" the cashier was so kind to us and said yes of course just go to the back by registry and well get you started. The manager Tim was so nice and helpful, got the girls registered. My 3 daughters were all so excited to send their registry off to santa!!! Even though they were busy, the cashiers and Tim, took their time to help make my daughters list to Santa a very special occasion . At checkout the cashier assured my daughters the list would be sent to the North Pole. Thank you Toys R Us staff!!!

Avoid them like the plague! Bought a bike for my son, and asked to have a new-in-box bike assembled. After waiting 48 hours for them to "assemble" the bike, we picked it up only to find out they picked a floor model that was scratched, cracked, and horribly assembled. As my sin rode the bike out of the store, both pedals fell off. We took it back in and they argued with us that the bike was a new in box assembly. Needless to say we returned it and asked for a full refund. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!

Went to get some Easter decorations and eggs for my sons birthday party and we were greeted by a nice young man named Noah M . On top of that he gave us amazing customer service ! He answered all my questions and informed us about the specials going on , really appreciate him taking the time to helps us and will be definitely coming back ! Had a bad experience at toys r us at the outletmall , just made this one my favorite store ! Thank you Noah

As the others have already told the customer service is absolutely horrible, I called, they received the call after a few minutes the first time, without listening put me on hold and then after 10 min some one picked up the phone and just did not speak.... I could hear people but no one would speak over the phone to me..... I have always seemed friendly staff at r-us stores but this one was horrible.

Good clearance selection. Our children were in heaven with so many toys to look at. It was a bit messy but I suppose thats to be expected with so many children testing out the toys. A few of the options you could find at the store were cheaper at the stores website or cheaper at other online stores.

We called to check on an item in stock, and we were told it was. So, my son and I made the half an hour drive only to not find the item in stock. We were told were sorry. After the half an hour drive back home I decided to call the store manager, only to be put on hold forever! We wont be back!

Great toy selection, but the woman Michelle who checked me out was rude and offered no solutions when i asked for an item that was not in Stock. As a worker in retail, i was not approached by one person and i found this to be a very unpleasant experience.

I wouldnt even give them one star but there was no other option. I waited for ten minutes on hold only for someone new to answer the phone and tell me they forgot I was on hold. Absolutely terrible customer service over there

Customer service is horrible at this location. Good selection of toys, however, three employees I encountered were absolutely no help whatsoever. As a consumer, it makes for a horrible shopping experience.

How can you not love Toys R Us? The prices are trending upward, but thats more a toy industry problem than something specific to the chain.
