Not a happy customer. It all started out as a pre-buy inspection. We found a used boat (for sale by private party) that happened to be there for service on a carburetor, perfect we thought. We were able to talk to the service department and they told us how we can get a pre-buy inspection, $240. This to us seemed reasonable and worth peace of mind on a used boat to have a professional go top to bottom and make sure that our money is not thrown into that big hole in the water. "Runs like a top...this boat is in great shape" they say. Fabulous we think! Well, not the case. Get it on the water and spend 20 minutes trying to get this thing to keep running. Having to feather the throttle and continue to throughout the first run. Not being a boat mechanic but somewhat savvy in mechanical issues I believe it may just be that the idle needs adjusting . Take it home, adjust idle, take out again. No go. The boat gets beat up a bit by the dock as we try to keep this thing running. Ok, lets try replacing throttle cables, all three. Wait for parts...parts come in. Three of the same cables, oh wait we needed three different cables. Perhaps the office gal should have listened to what I was asking for. So a few phone calls later they send me to a shop in Boise for 2 of the 3 cables. Get home and put them in. Put boat back on the water, nope. Boat is stuck in reverse. Order that 3rd cable and wait. Go pick up 3rd cable and bring it home, oops wrong cable. Drive back to Nampa. So the first cable was the correct one (still didnt need 3 of them). So putting it in now, we shall see. Point of the review. I spent $240 on an inspection to buy a boat that "runs like a top" to have it sit in my driveway. The office girl sits behind her computer blowing bubbles with her bubblegum and was very condescending to me and well frankly could care less about the inconvenience. We would have never bought this boat except for their professional opinion that it was a good boat. I am just really upset that there was no ownership of this inspection that is about worth as much as the paper it was written on. Not one gesture to even try to make good on this. If they wouldve even operated the shift stick they shouldve caught this. Not sure where that $240 was focused at.

We took our boat in for repair, were told it would be done within 1 week. after not receiving any phones call, we called them, to find out they had ordered the wrong part so we would have to wait another two weeks. We waited no phone call. We personally went to their facility, after they were fumbling to find our paper work, we found out they only did partial job. They felt bad and told us to come back for a free oil change after we ran the boat awhile. An oil change takes 30 minutes, we were told we had to leave the boat just for the oil change. No phones calls to use after 3 days, we called 4 times and left VM and did not get return call so on 3rd day we decided to just get our boat. Manager could not find our paper work, so we told him to just give us our boat back. His excuse was "other boat owners are hounding him to get their boats repaired so he put ours on the back burner". What would have taken 30 minutes took 3 days!!! Needless to say we will not be take our boat to them ever again. The mechanics are great but front office is a disaster!!! very unorganized. I wonder why they just cant tell you up front that they are busy and it may take weeks. JUST BE HONEST, FYI there is a great boat repair in Caldwell, "Canyon Boats in Caldwell, They finish their work on time an actually test drive your boat at lake lowell before they call you to pick it up. we have neighbors that gave great reviews.

We just moved to Boise last year and we needed to find a shop for our boat maintenance needs. These guys are absolutely FANTASTIC! We had to get our tower mirror mount fixed, and every shop we took our boat couldnt fix it. But Justin and Aaron at Idaho Water Sports did. They provided us with excellent service in a timely manner. Their level of knowledge and willingness to help is awesome! You are missing out if you dont go see these guys for your boating needs.

We bought our boat here before they were Idaho Water Sports. Justin and the staff are amazingly accommodating. Theyve loaned boats and equipment when needed. Really appreciate their approach to taking care of the customer.
