I purchased a dresser from this store in 2013. The dresser is okay - nothing great, but not bad either. When we were looking at the furniture, we had our son who was 2 at the time. We had a sippy cup with water for him that we kept in his diaper bag. The staff at the store almost wouldnt let us in with the sippy cup. A few days ago we returned looking for a recliner. Now we have 2 boys, and they were behaving themselves fairly well. They werent jumping on the furniture or anything. Mostly climbing up and sitting on the couches that we were looking at. They did push the button to recline the couch they were sitting on 1 or 2 times when a member of the staff got after them for playing with the furniture. We definitely felt like they wanted us to leave, so we did. We probably would have purchased a recliner if they had treated us like they wanted our business.

I have visited this store twice, both times followed and watched like a hawk because I had a child with me. Who wants to shop when u have the sales associate on your tail the WHOLE time. The first visit, the mattress my grandmother was looking at had a small stain and they tried to act as if my daughter did it, she had no food with her. Second time the sales associate acted like my daughter and siblings were gonna tear apart the for furniture or something because they sat on the furniture (the models are to test right?) Than after the experience my mother had with their smart comments about not being able to afford a couch she showed interested in and their dishonesty with a mattress she purchased, I would not recommend this place.

My husband and I had a really great experience shopping for furniture for our new home here. The owner was very warm, courteous and accommodating. She showed us all of our options, so we could make a decision that best fit our needs and our budget yet she gave us time to talk privately about expenses. We were able to upgrade to a very high quality King mattress and beautiful and extremely comfortable sectional sofa. They were transparent about warranty policies with each piece we were considering. The furniture is high quality and you simply cannot find better prices in the Treasure Valley. I highly recommend shopping at Discount Furniture and Mattress.

My kids were followed by a separate employee. I overheard this employee on the phone with his Dad and say that he cant leave yet he has to watch this family. They dont have any money to buy anything and they are just letting the kids run around. My boys were with me my daughter was with my wife. My wife was looking at a bed with another employee and I told her we are leaving and why. We went to MOR furniture and had a much better experience with Ishmael. Spent just over $3000 for 3 beds, nightstand, and a table with 6 awesome chairs. Dont waste your time or money at Discount Furniture and Mattress.

I bought a mattress from this place and was told that if i ever had a problem with it it would be fixed. After 3 months it began to sag in the middle. The owner after 4 months of pestering him finally brought me a Refurbised mattress which means it was used and he brought me the wrong size and then said he would bring me the right size and never did. Then he said he needed $400 to make it right. I am taking him to court.

I wrote up my experience, but apparently it was too long to fit, so in a nut shell: You dont provide mediocre service, try to make it right, but then turn around & charge the customer for it & expect them to return. It doesnt work that way...owner needs to learn to be true to his word...

Great buying experience! No pushy sales tactics and great prices. I bought a mattress for my son 4 years ago and is still a quality mattress and so we came back to buy our king! I will not buy a mattress any where else! Plus the delivery fee was low!
